On the other hand, we run agile software development, which means scrum. When we’re in an active iteration, we do daily stand-ups. All our team is part of it, and they keep us involved. We can make judgment calls and on-the-fly decisions if they need us to. Also, we have a great working relationship with their scrum masters, just in case something comes up during the iterations. Nonetheless, we always do a retrospective after an iteration, which means we do a team review on how we think the iteration went.

We sat down, came up with timelines, figured out rough implementations, roadblocks, and risks. For the most part, everything played out as we anticipated, without delays.
