We did this mostly on Google Meets, but on two occasions, we were accommodated at their offices in the Czech Republic, with a two-week stay at one point. We had the Whatsapp numbers of the team if we needed to ask any questions out of hours or during holidays, and enjoyed socializing with the team on our two trips there. We have become friends as well as colleagues. We would do a sprint review every week and as we went along the journey, we would need to sometimes add new features. When adding new features we found them to be very accommodating and honest when it came to the time estimates.

Our project manager has been structured in how he likes to do things and has worked continuously with our business in order to deliver requirements. He has been supportive, but there is only so much he can do from his position, given the guidelines we've provided from our global organization. I have a very good working relationship with Cirrius Solutions' team. They're cognizant of what we're trying to achieve, and we've been able to bounce ideas off each other, trying to keep a good vision of our goals with no internal communication struggles.

I think they performed great. No large website implementation is perfect. I think a really good company is one that acknowledges something isn’t right, or that it could be done more efficiently, and pursues those solutions. They really try to understand your company on a holistic level. They’re not our company, so they don’t necessarily understand us 100 percent. No contractor does, but their willingness to iterate and work on helping us achieve our goals really distinguishes them.

One is their desire to help solve issues or problems even if I didn’t provide a great explanation the first time. We’ve definitely experienced some project friction with Aware, but it’s never been insurmountable, and more importantly, they approach setbacks with an opportunistic mindset. The barriers and challenges we’ve faced have actually helped both of our companies work more effectively together. At the end of the day, the best service providers are the ones that strive to form symbiotic relationships with their clients. In other words, they’ve the ones that go the extra mile to comprehend the problems and goals on terms set by the client, rather than terms set by themselves.
