As part of the ERP implementation at Klesk, we determined that our current MSP was not the right partner for the future of Klesk. slashBlue quickly took control of our IT helpdesk. Shortly after that, we replaced all network gear in a single day, providing a stable, supported, and secure foundation for our ERP launch.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new network infrastructure, combined with the governance layer that we are implementing now, will allow us to achieve CMMC compliance. Serving the defense industrial base is a major revenue contributor at Klesk. CMMC compliance will alow Klesk to not just maintain, but grow, that revenue stream.

We have a dedicated project manager who owns all activity with our company. Response time is as expected, plus when something urgent comes up, they step up big time.

We are working on a number of project with slashBlue.  One of the first was completing a cybersecurity evaluation of our company.  The evaluation was extremely valuable as it demonstrated what we are doing well and areas for us to continue working on.

slashBlue completed a comprehenisve assessment of the International branch of our orgaization. This included a cybersecurity maturity assessment utilizing the CIS Framework. Based on the results of the assessment, the team developed a comprehensive roadmap for addressing the technical debt that our organization had accrued and maturing our overall cybersecurity posture. The roadmap included risk based stratification of the priorities and budgetary figures necessary for the organization to plan for and adopt the roadmap.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Outcome on this project was binary, deliver the roadmap in a specific timeframe.

The team at slashBlue did an amazing job! They kept the project moving, set the necessary meeetings and made sure the correct stakeholders were involved in each meeting. Many of the meetings were discovery of our systems and processes. They always came to the table with well defined questions that made it clear that the conversation was just not wandering in the dark. At the same time, they had appropriate open ended questions that allowed them to discover things about our organization and operations that I would probably not have thought to share outright with them, but were relevant to the overall project.

The roadmap was delivered ahead of deadline with meetings to specifically ensure that my team fully understood the content. As we continued to ingest all of the information they readily answered followup questions via email. At the 50% point of the project I had the opportunity to apply for a grant to fund one of the recommended priorities. The slashBlue team created a Mid-Term report to provide the necessary docmentation to support our grant application.

Amazing people that cared and connected with our misison, vision and values. I never walked away from a meeting feeling like they had not heard and understood my challenges and needs.

I can honestly say that the team at slashBlue exceeded my expectations in all aspects of this engagement. I can rarely say that about a vendor.
