Please describe your company and your position there.

I am currently a Consulting Unit Manager at M-Files Corporation.

We are an intelligent document management platform that improves business performance by helping people find and use information more effectively.

In my role, I am responsible for our North America Professional Service Delivery Partners.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire TEAM IM?

TEAM has worked on many projects for our customers as a trusted Delivery Partner. As a M-Files Authorized Service Partner, TEAM has shown true expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting the M-Files Platform.

As a M-Files Certified Application Partner, TEAM has developed their own applications to extend the value of the M-Files Platform for customers.

What were your goals for this project?

Automation of document creation from information provided via an electronic form in an external system then stored in the M-Files Vault.

How did you select TEAM IM?

TEAM was chosen based on their expertise with eForms as well as custom applications and integrations with the M-Files Platform.

Describe the project in detail.

TEAM automated the creation of a document based on information that is provided via an electronic form.

TEAM then performed the M-Files configuration and built a custom application for the integration between the external system and M-Files. Once the solution was deployed TEAM has assisted with providing support.

What was the team composition?

Several members of TEAM were involved in the project in roles such as Delivery Lead, Solution Architect, Senior Application Consultant, and Project Manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

TEAM has delivered a solution that exceeds the original expectations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

TEAM does a great job with communication of activities/status within projects. They also do a great job of proactively ensuring information related to their role as a M-Files Delivery Partner is discussed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are fantastic partner and company to work with. Their ability to develop applications to extend the value of the M-Files platform for our customers. They can be counted on for delivering solutions that truly enable customer success.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m currently the president of McLane Technology Partners. We’re a systems integration and IT services provider. Our company also specializes in software development, legacy maintenance, and technology migration. We work in the public sector for the state of Texas.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address with TEAM IM?

We worked with them on three projects for our state government agency clients. They supported data migration and software installation. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with upgrading web content management systems. They installed Oracle CMS programs and migrated electronic files from the old system to the new Oracle system for our clients. We also built a web application that redacts personal information such as social security numbers from documents. They maintained that application for us. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with five people for two of the larger projects, but only one person for our smaller project. 

How did you come to work with TEAM IM?

When we first engaged with them, I wasn’t involved. I believe the person who hired them had worked with them before and had a successful engagement. 

How much have you invested with them? 

We’ve invested around $900,000 in their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2014, and our partnership is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We get paid for each deliverable. Each time we partnered with TEAM IM, the customer accepted our deliverables. We also use the vendor performance tracking system because we work with the Texas government. We got an A rating from our client for our first project with TEAM IM. 

How did TEAM IM perform from a project management standpoint?

We primarily communicated with them over the phone and via email. However, they also came down to Austin for important kickoff meetings. We had regularly scheduled calls with their team and our clients. The team was professional and always kept our projects moving forward. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a great company to work with. They’re honorable and reliable people. We have a great working relationship.

No, nothing comes to mind.
