During development, we had daily status calls—sometimes just 10-minute touch points—and only skipped them on the rare occasions when everyone was clear about the work. In addition to calls, I received weekly and daily status reports; the project manager and I spoke every Sunday to review the prior week the plan priorities for the upcoming one. To verify everything was on track, Appinventiv did mini-demos in between functionality deliveries.
