Social Vantage, a social media marketing firm, did not rank for social media related terms. They partnered with Searchbloom for SEO services, and SearchBloom redesigned an outdated site structure to move Social Vantage to page one for more than 10 target terms.

Competitive Terms & Outdated Site Hinder SEO for Social Vantage

Social Vantage operated using an outdated site framework in an incredibly competitive keyword space (“social media marketing,” “social media management”).

When Social Vantage began working with Searchbloom, Social Vantage did not have operational SEO efforts in place and did not rank for target terms. Social Vantage used social media marketing and digital advertising for lead generation but not for SEO.

SearchBloom On-Site SEO Efforts Improve Rankings for Social Vantage

Starting in 2016, SearchBloom instituted a national SEO campaign primarily using on-site optimization and supported by off-site initiatives.

On-Site Optimization Efforts

  • Website audit
  • Keyword research and optimization
  • Web design
  • Blogging

Off-Site Optimization Efforts

  • Social media marketing
  • Influencer marketing
  • Reputation management

Searchbloom SEO Establishes Top Five Results for Target Terms

As a result of Searchbloom's efforts, Social Vantage occupies page one for 10 target keyword phrases (see below).

Social Vantage also experienced a 224% year-over-year (YoY) increase in lead conversions in the first half of 2017 (January-June), and organic traffic is now their main lead acquisition source and has been for the last 6 months.

Competitive Keyword Landscape Increases Price of SEO Services

Social Vantage pays $3,500 per month, on a month-to-month basis, for full-service SEO from Searchbloom, an agreement that includes both on-site and off-site efforts. SearchBloom and Social Vantage communicate once a month, unless otherwise needed.

While the minimum charge for a national SEO campaign runs at $3,000/month, the competitive keyword landscape for "social media marketing" increases the complexity of the project, which in turn, increases the price.
