It did end up extending the project but it was very transparent, and BB Agency was very communicative so we always knew what was happening and we didn’t have to chase after them. When there was a delay, they talked about why there was a delay. They basically walked us through the steps so we were involved in the process the whole way. We had a Slack channel we communicated through so everyone that was part of the project — both on their end and on ours — was involved in the conversation at all times and everyone was on the same page.

There are going to be issues in every project. It’s the client’s feeling of how that went that is going to dictate the project itself. In our case, we had some roadblocks. That being said, we expect those roadblocks with the project we were going into. Even though we had an overrun in the initial timeframe, very satisfied with how it was handled and communicated to me. They communicated very well and very often. We might have 10 or 15 emails a day from these guys during the middle of our project. We appreciate that and it makes us feel like we’re part of the process. They don’t go in a back room and come out with a product you don’t like and needs major changes. The communication and feedback have been great.

We had a standing weekly phone call that they never canceled. Even if there was nothing of importance to discuss, we’d get on the phone for five minutes and briefly go over the project just to stay in the routine of that call. This demonstrates their commitment and willingness to follow-through on tasks. I could tell everyone on their team liked working there and could communicate seamlessly with each other. They may have struggled to do so, but their professionalism kept that information away from me. They’d ask for several dates when scheduling a meeting, but always found a time that worked.

Then, they explain what they will do for me in detail and handle the rest. We usually communicate via email or phone. I’ve used other providers over the years, and one of them made me a lot of promises about Google ranking and social media management. Then, they went to a competitor of mine half a mile away to offer them the same deal, which didn’t make sense to me. However, Jamie added an exclusivity clause in our contract, and they won’t provide the same service to any of our competitors in my area.
