5.0 May 28, 2025Despite the deliverables being fairly straightforward, the project was deceptively tricky and complex. Elements included negotiating the schedule of a busy NHL starter, finding a suitable filming location that worked geographically, and navigating the demands and requirements of not only the NHL but its union, the NHLPA. Additionally, the timeline was rushed, with no more than three weeks from kick-off to final cut. But 4040 hit every mark. Goals shifted, complications arose, and the clock never stopped ticking, but they were nimble, responsive to our needs, concerns and feedback, and cool under pressure.

We had some top leaders in the area who work for some large companies that attract businesses as well. They said this was one of the best pieces they’d ever seen, and that’s coming from people who work in Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County. That was nice to hear. The piece is very useful, comprehensive, colorful, and the imagery is great. I’ve heard from member and non-members how much they think this is a valuable marketing piece.
