BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Founder of a content marketing company. A content marketing house that serves brands in organic SEO, copywriting, social media, and digital marketing strategy.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Lime&Co, and what were your goals?

We needed help developing our logo and branding to fit our long-term goals. We had gone through iterations in the past that were good, but did not grow with us. So, we wanted a strategy that we could use to build out new collateral and use for many years to come.

SOLUTION

How did you select Lime&Co?

The founder, Petra, is a presence in the San Diego design community. I was lucky to see her work in some industry meetings and knew that I wanted to work with her and her team if the opportunity ever arose. The stars aligned in 2021 and we decided to move forward.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

To start, we had an interview that went over the goals for our company, what our mission, vision, and values are, and competitive analysis. From this, a Clarity report was created, which helped us in our steps to move toward the brand discovery and brand identity process. I

n that time, we were presented with a few different logos and branding iterations that could have all worked wonderfully for our brand. We chose our favorite, and then Petra and her team set out to create the final strategy and style guidelines we needed to move forward. For our final deliverables, we received a brand identity, logos, fonts, media templates, and other files required to continue our work successfully.

We were also able to schedule a call to go through how to best utilize the documents.

How many people from the Lime&Co team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I was fortunate to work directly with Petra, the founder, and her team worked behind the scenes to bring the documents together for us.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Petra has a gift for making you think far beyond where you would have ever gone and brings out creative and actionable ideas. From this experience, I am now working towards opening up a new revenue stream for my business. With the new branding, we are also confident in sponsoring more local events and generating more web and digital traffic than before. To say it was worth it is an understatement.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We communicated regularly, whether via Zoom or email, to work through the Clarity process. There were four distinct calls: our first interview, the results of that work, the initial logo findings, and the final branding and strategy review. We were able to hop on calls or discuss our needs with Petra throughout the process as needed as well. Their communication was wonderful and they made us feel that we had all of the tools we needed for a successful launch.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Petra was committed to learning about my company, asking questions that made me discover even more about my goals and was incredibly open to our team feedback. We felt that the process was creative, challenging, and fun—and their team made it into an experience we truly enjoyed from day one.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We enjoyed this process and do not have feedback for improvement.
