We initially trained and onboarded SPLACE BPO. We set it up to work specifically with a team lead. After training their team lead, they trained all the new people we hired from their team.

What is the team composition?

We work mostly with the team lead, who oversees 10–14 administrative people.

How did you come to work with SPLACE BPO?

We found them through Upwork.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $100,000–$250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in February 2023. I left the company in October 2024, but I believe the engagement is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

SPLACE BPO has done an excellent job. They pick things up quickly and bring new ideas to the table.

How did SPLACE BPO perform from a project management standpoint?

They stay on top of deadlines and are good communicators and project managers. For managing tasks, we use Asana and Microsoft Excel. For communication, we mainly use Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team lead is very effective.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There were 1–2 people who didn’t perform well. When I told their project lead that we no longer wanted them working for us, they handled it very professionally. Overall, SPLACE BPO has been doing a good job and is excellent to work with. I've already recommended them to a few friends and colleagues.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I did a lot of work upfront with SPLACE BPO in terms of training because I wanted things done in a specific way. I had to invest time to show them what I needed. For instance, I made a lot of recorded videos for them to watch. On that note, I think you have to invest time with their team in order to help them understand what you need.

The culture is my favorite thing about working with Splace. They are very outgoing and personable. They often share pictures and information about their company events and try to include our teams virtually. They do a wonderful job of connecting with us.

I believe it's due to the hours in which we report to work in the US, but my only critique would be earlier communication in the day regarding agent status. There are mornings where we do not hear about an agent not being able to report to work until after our business hours have started which makes responding to the shortage a challenge.

Although they were great at being hands-off and didn't need much one-on-one assistance, I recommend potential clients hold daily huddles with the team, even if just for five minutes. They always performed better during those huddles; they felt valued and worked harder.
