Dedicated person. Could give detailed instructions. Having a dedicated assistant allowed for me to invest into training and develop the person. Previous assistants I had to explain everything for scrated every time.

The project is to build a plant care system that includes a water management system and lights. The assistant does the supply chain, finance, digital marketing setup and version control of each model.

I have a dedicated person. They are like personal assistants who can do a wide variety of jobs. The tasks change on a weekly basis.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Tasks that used to take 6 hours are now done in a matter of 30mins. Every week we add new tasks and working protocals that are then later easier to enact. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I used to meet with the VA on a daily basis. Now they can work independantly and we only need to check in a couple of times a week. Or when there are new tasks. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They sent me four CV's in a day and then setup interviews within a coupole of days. The offer couching for the VA when requested. They offered relevant CV's. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Management could be more involved. The couching is available on request. It would be a bit better if they did this on a regular basis and proactively.

The interview process is short and need to make decision very quickly which result in hiring someone that doesn't fit to our culture and need to try out several candidates to be able to find the perfect fit. Maybe provide more time in the hiring process so we don't need to go through so many unfit candidates.

My initial worry was that the language barrier would be tough as I needed help answering phone calls for new customers. I am happy to say that all of my interactions have been nothing short of awesome. Language is not an issue as everyone that I have spoken with communicates great.

My VA is a hard worker and has done everything I have asked of her. Looking forward to putting all my effort towards grow now that I have an amazing VA.

We needed someone to handle inbound calls for scheduling and for general questions and followup.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I looked into hiring a customer service agent that worked in the office and quickly realized it was not the route we needed to take in this due to overhead costs and too much idle time that would waste money for everyone. I started researching virtual customer service companies and was not thrilled with many of the companies and their lack of dedication. When I came across this company they were so organized and caring about insuring I got exactly what I needed. They lined up interviews for me to choose one person to handle all of my needs instead of just having a call center with various people working for us. We are a customer service orientated company that strives to grow a relationship with our customers and didn't want them calling in and talking to just anyone that answered the phone. We wanted to make sure they know who they are calling everytime.

We are using Ring Central along with Jobber to make our entire system flow and promote customer satisfaction. After interviewing Maureen and bringing her on board she has bent over backwards to learn our system with almost zero training. She's truly amazing and so is Heidi who set everything up and made sure all of my questions were answered.

I have had the pleasure of working with Heidi that has set everything up and found my perfect assistant Maureen. Maureen is my personal assistant that is so delightful to work with. She not only does what I hired her for in the first place but keeps asking for more things to do to help us grow in the way we want to! She actually works the entire time she is being paid and is in constant contact with me. She is so efficient and is always asking me for work to do that sometimes I run out of things to send her lol! That is very unusual now a days and I love it!

This is the way to go for a small business that is trying to succeed and become a permanent staple in our industry!

We use different apps to preform various operations and most of them are free to use. They have had no problems utilizing our software.

I needed a virtual assistant to help me with my business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Remote CoWorker’s virtual assistant (VA) is sending my music to different radio stations. They research and identify the genre of various stations, and they send my songs and electronic press kit (EPK) to those stations.

My VA logs the day and time that my songs get aired if a station decides to play my music. Several stations play my music now, so we keep track of who’s airing my songs and for how many times per day.

Additionally, my VA has set up and is managing my Facebook and Twitter accounts. They also respond to messages on those platforms.

What is the team composition?

I work with one VA.

We hired a VA for my daytime job, and they did a great job for us. I realized if I wanted my business to succeed, I also needed help from a VA.

My VA is doing an outstanding job. Because of their work, my songs are heavily played on over 10 radio stations. 

How did Remote CoWorker perform from a project management standpoint?

Every day, my VA has a task list, including submitting songs to radio stations and updating my social media with posts and pictures. They successfully accomplish their tasks every day. 

We communicate through Skype, and we use Google Drive to share files. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The VA that Remote CoWorker assigned to me is very hardworking and diligent, and they are excited about our work. In this business, we need to keep marketing ourselves to get responses — my VA is doing an excellent job in that.

I can’t think of anything. So far, everything is going well, and we’re making a lot of progress.

Know your market. When I started this journey, I didn’t know what I needed to do. Identify your goals, and have your path lined up. Ensure that you are organized, and place deadlines on your tasks. If you do that, your VA will know what they need to do every day.
