Lucid were amazing at project management. They were responsive, and we felt like we were their only clients. We are in different time zones but they would get back to us quickly even outside of their business hours, usually providing responses within minutes. We set up a group chat on instant messenger, and that was our main way of communicating. Outside of that, we had emails and standing weekly calls for half an hour to raise issues and check in on progress. They were determined to meet our deadline — they worked late and weekends to try and make things happen.

Within 3 months of the app launching, we were seeing clear signals in the analytics (with regards to retention and usage time) that indicated we were onto something: Users were liking the app and each time we made an improvement, they used it more. The app has a 4.5 star rating (out of 5) from users on the iOS app store. Overall the quality of the design work was a huge step up for us as a startup from where we were before.
