What challenge were you trying to address with Countable Web Productions?

We needed help with building a property search website to generate online leads.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Countable Web Productions designed and developed the property search site. The team built a search function that connects to the real estate board data feed as well as several data pages that pull and display data in different layouts. They created algorithms to value properties automatically based on similar properties that are already priced. They also developed an automated email sequence that generates a sold property report and sends it to my clients and contacts every 60 days.

In addition, the site features a customized chat feature, a light CRM, and a blog. Countable Web Productions also designed its logo and implemented SEO. The team is now conducting social media marketing, and they will provide ad content and site content creation down the road.

What is the team composition?

We work with four people: a designer, a lead coder, a project manager, and a person who built the blog and chat function.

How did you come to work with Countable Web Productions?

Ten years ago, their owner came across one of my projects and inquired about it. He and my site designer at the time started talking, and we began to work together from there.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $50,000–$100,000 CAD (approximately $37,000–$75,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working on this site in March 2018, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The site has launched, and we track its traffic, leads, and use of tools by real estate agents in the field. We’ve achieved 100 organic visits per day, which is an encouraging start.

Countable Web Productions excels at finding and building custom solutions to our problems. They took the time to research our industry and offer relevant suggestions. Several times, their coder has to come me in person to clarify specific tasks rather than attempt the task on his own or risk an unclear explanation over email. They go above and beyond to achieve the best results possible.

I’m the office manager for Kensington Medical Clinic. We’re a large, multidisciplinary medical facility.

What challenge were you trying to address with Countable Web Productions?

As a forward-thinking company, we decided to optimize our workflows by using electronic medical records. The process involved transforming our documentation system into a web-based platform. Instead of rebuilding existing workflows, we wanted to leverage technologies to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness for our patients. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

After making the switch to paperless record keeping, we hired Countable Web Productions to build out the system even further. They developed a web component that augments our online presence. Their contributions include a system that enables patients to book appointments online. That system exists as a website that can be accessed through our original site.

As a result of the integration, in-person patients register with a doctor on a computer at the front of our office, rather than through our customer service representatives. Patients also don’t have to spend 10 minutes trying to find a doctor over the phone. Countable Web Productions created software that recognizes patients by their unique care card number and connects them with an appropriate healthcare professional.

They've also provided a physician scheduling system. We have 30 doctors on staff, so having a single program to manage everyone’s schedules is crucial to our day-to-day operation.

They assigned a project manager as our primary point of contact. That individual leads a team of developers and designers.

I can’t remember exactly how we found them. They were a small team that has continued to grow since we’ve started working together.

We spent roughly $25,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them intermittently over the past seven or eight years. However, our most recent engagement with them started in January 2018. They offer a wide range of services, so we’re looking to continue our business relationship with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate their ability to work on so many different facets of our business. I don’t have a technology background, but they’re willing to talk me through different ideas and come up with potential solutions. Meanwhile, they recognize our limitations and can pitch projects in layman’s terms. Their ability to break things down and present deliverables in an understandable way puts us at ease. We know they do excellent work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not that I've seen. Any missteps along the way have been a result of us working without a template.

Communication is important, so meet with them regularly to ensure everyone is working toward the project’s ultimate objective.
