The team has also organized the data in an easy-to-read format, verified discrepancies, assisted with payor phone calls to track enrollment, checked on EOB issues, and worked on payor projects for data accuracy.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Unity Communications' team is reliable, coachable, independent, and task driven. We trust their work. Since they've been hired, errors have significantly been reduced. We've also been able to have a better onboarding and client experience because of the information they're gathering. Moreover, we've saved a significant amount of time since this project was allocated to Unity Communications as their sole focus. Other employees can now focus on their day-to-day tasks, and Unity Communications turns all work around ahead of schedule. We've also improved accuracy since they've been hired because they can spend the time to ensure no discrepancies or that discrepancies are followed up on. Thanks to the work Unity Communications does, we've improved our workflow and offered clients a tailored fee schedule analysis using data the clients provide and that Unity Communications verifies directly with the insurance company.

As we lost employees, our collections didn’t drop and stayed the same. Moreover, our calls are still handled timely, and our clients are happy. Not receiving complaints from clients ensures we’re doing well. MED-1 Solutions is one of the best collectors that our clients deal with and continues to be.

They’re very communicative and helpful. They’re always on time and follow up when needed. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

Everyone is always respectful, kind, engaged, and thankful. Working with Unity Communications has been a wonderful experience. They appreciate the roles we’ve offered them, and they work hard each day to continue showing that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We started with a little problem with agents’ attendance. However, Unity Communications’ operations jumped in and came up with a new plan, incentives, and more to make attendance better. We’re happy to report a 99.59% attendance rate for January 2026 for all of Unity Communications/RevOne!

From assisting patients in enrolling in ensurance, working with carriers to get a claim process, taking many calls per day answering questions and collecting payments all the way to preparing law suits for small claims.

This was ourfirst attempt in outsourcing any lines/positions. 

One of our highest needs is relability with Patient Advocates. We need employees that are at work each day, on their schedule time. 
We also have to ensure that our patients questions are being answered accurately and in a timely manner in a way that is easy for them to understand.

Unity is very timely! We are rarely ever waiting on them to get something to us. They are responsive and even piggy back their communication efforts.

Consistency with claim processing and therefore revenue has significantly increased. Scalable increase in tasks as company rapidly expands due to consistency with KPI outcomes.

The team has been curtious and diligent throughout the process and the numerous onboarding of new team members.  Our needs are addressed in a itmely manner.

The professionalism of the staff and the candidates that are selected for recruitment. All the personnel we have worked with are knowledgeable and incredibly friendly.

The hand off of the team lead that orignially led our account was not the smoothest transition and could have been more transparent and offered clearer lines of handoff responsibilities. Performance improvement plans for agents are often delayed and do not have a set process that allows for trackable change.

Our KPI's such as average handle time, SLA and first contact resolution improved a lot with the help of Unity Agents.

I truly enjoyed how friendly and responsive our agents have been since their first day. It is a lot to learn and take every day. The agents always showed a willingness to learn.

I have concerns regarding the accuracy of the weekly quality evaluation reports. The consistently high scores, often in the 90s, do not align with the actual ticket quality I've observed. I believe the current sampling method is insufficient, potentially overlooking tickets requiring improvement. To ensure a more accurate representation of agent performance, we should explore alternative evaluation methods that provide a comprehensive view of ticket quality within Unity.

I found Unity Communications on Google, and then I read some of their reviews on LinkedIn. I had an interview with Patrick (Founder & CEO) alongside his Philippine-based team. At the same time, I was looking into accounting firms based on their credentials and resumes. I chose Unity Communications because they were highly reputable. The team had done extremely better work than what I’d seen in Canada during my search for bookkeepers.

Unity Communications does double the effectiveness and efficiency of the work for a fraction of its cost. Their bookkeeper’s work quality is better than anything I’ve found in Canada. I’ve worked with a large bookkeeping services company before; Unity Communications’ services are much better than theirs in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. 

How did Unity Communications perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re timely and responsive. On top of that, their services are more cost-effective than comparable Canadian companies. To communicate, we use email, WhatsApp, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their efficiency level in Canadian accounting has surprised and impressed me the most. The team is up to speed in terms of local sales tax, income tax, and the Canadian tax authority. Overall, they’re highly knowledgeable in local tax laws and accounting principles.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Broadening the scope of their work would be great. They’re doing their job so well that they could be doing more. While they might be offering more and we’re just not using those services yet, I’d like to see them do more internet marketing.

It’s best to speak with Patrick and their office manager in the Philippines to get their guidance. They know how to best serve your needs based on the people they have.

The team is responsible for processing incoming orders, evaluating prescriptions, following up on pending orders, replying to emails, and we're now transitioning some of the team to respond to our customers in our onsite live chat. Our Unity team works together to ensure all the orders are sent to the warehouse in a timely manner, daily.

Having Unity handle our duty processing has ensured that our customer service team is available to help assist our customers on the phone. Our phone drop rate has decreased, and the amount of orders being processed has increased as a direct result

We have a scheduled monthly check-in with our campaign manager, but if any pressing issues arise Unity management is quick to respond. The agents we work with daily are ab absolute delight in our company chatrooms and video meetings.
