I’m a co-owner and the creative director of Griflan Design, Inc., a boutique agency specializing in web design and development.

For what projects/services did your company hire TechSpeed LLC?

We brought TechSpeed LLC on to handle projects for two of our clients. The first was a data entry project and the second was frontend web development for an ICO.

What were your goals for this project?

The first project required a high degree of accuracy within a short time frame, while the second called for top-of-the-line HTML, CSS, and Java work to be done at minimal cost.

I found their website on Google, and it looked more professional than the competitions’. Being a designer, the way they packaged themselves sold me.

For the first project, TechSpeed LLC produced over 500 hospital menus by transferring data from excel sheets to interactive print-ready PDFs. Regarding the second, they did HTML, CSS, and Java development based on PSD files our client provided us with. The solution and the animations within it are mobile-friendly.

Eight people worked on the first project, and four worked on the second.

I’m the owner of The Book Club, an advertising and marketing company. We design, build, and manage WordPress websites for clients across a range of industries, with a particular focus on B2B and manufacturing.

What challenge were you trying to address with TECHSPEED INC?

I needed assistance with data cleaning, formatting, and lightweight content management as part of a WordPress website redesign and rebuild.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TECHSPEED INC has converted, reformatted, normalized, and cleaned data for close to 1,000 WordPress posts. The specific deliverables have varied a bit based on the particular type of content they’ve been working on (e.g., blog posts versus project/portfolio posts). Specific activities have included: 

- Updating project posts to use a taxonomy-based method of relating posts to one another, rather than using a direct “object-to-object” relationship in the WordPress database 

- Moving images that were mixed with text in project posts’ “post content” field into a custom project gallery field 

- Flagging projects with missing image caption and copyright information, low resolution, or other issues 

- Flagging all posts with missing videos or other migration issues

TECHSPEED INC has provided updates via a tracking spreadsheet, and we use email to confirm that deliverables are ready for review. The team has helped us improve the structure of our data, enhancing the user experience of the content, as well as its SEO and business value.

How did TECHSPEED INC perform from a project management standpoint?

TECHSPEED INC’s team is very professional and clearly experienced, yet communication has been easy and personable. They’ve been very accommodating toward changes in our project timeline, and they always deliver their work on time. We communicate via email and messaging apps.

TECHSPEED INC’s ability to support seemingly any data-work need, so long as that work can be communicated with a documented process (such as through a video walkthrough of the process and/or a process SOP document).

However, I will say that Techspeed handles large volumes of data of many different file source types and conducts research and analysis on those files to provide meaningful data and metadata. They then integrate that data into our currently operating systems without interruption.
