We hired Pettinky to design and create a website that would enable our audience & fans easily access our content.We also hoped the website would be an advertising platform for us and our business.We also wanted a website whereby we would be able to sell our merchandise.

We got to know about the vendor through a referral.The one who referred us to them spoke highly of them and their work.We also got to meet them and review some of their work.We were impressed with the quality of work.

We had several meetings to discuss design and content uploads.Once the design was done on their part they uploaded the content and all was left was to strengthen the security of the site,which they did and the site was ready for the public.

The project head was the one who we interacted with most, as well as two members of the design and one from strategy department.

A few hours after the launch the site temporarily crashed due to heavy traffic.This is an indication of how successful the project had been.

We had morning meeting sessions of 3 hours and evening sessions of 3 hours as well.For days we could not physically meet,we scheduled skype meetings.

The attention to detail,cordial relations with clients,proffessionalism and good service.

We were more than pleased with the services we got.

I’m the founder and CEO of Lehr. We’re a research and development company with a particular focus on product development and growth strategy for companies. Our focus markets are in North America and Southeast Asia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Pettinsky Karisa?

We never had a website and we operated through word of mouth for our business development. I figured it was high time, and we could no longer work on that modus operandi. We needed a website, but not just any kind of website. I wanted to take it from the scaffolding and then develop it.

He created a blueprint for my website. We stopped at this point, but we did discuss two more additional projects for the future.

Karisa reached out to me on LinkedIn and shared his profile with me. I found it interesting and told him I needed a scaffolding canvas for my website. I shared what I had in mind for my profile and asked if he could do something similar.

I invested about $45.

The project ran from January–June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was happy with the final blueprint. There were a couple of things I wasn’t familiar with as well as a couple of things I had to guide Karisa on. I liked how he made a website flow map. That wasn’t something I told him to do, he was proactive and did it himself. That visual representation was great. I like that he went above and beyond and did something new.

How did Pettinsky Karisa perform from a project management standpoint?

We used Google Docs for project management. It’s easy for collaboration and great for receiving real-time feedback. There were delays on my part because I had to go back and forth and change a few things, but Karisa was cooperative.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication was definitely a highlight. Karisa connected really well with me. He understood what I was saying without me having to explain things excessively and that really stands out to me. There was no friction.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d recommend they familiarize themselves with the latest developments and engagement styles. This includes project management, perhaps relating to agile and scrum. If they worked on that, it could benefit their engagements with other clients.

Make sure they’re set up for success. Ensure your initial instruction and guidance is clear as possible. This’ll allow for the end result to match your expectations.

We had issues with our IT and needed help with web design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They help with our website design and customer interface. They also help with geolocation. When the client logs in and is looking at our website, I’m able to track where they’re located which helps us in targeting the market that really works for us. In addition, they do some social media marketing by targeting the clients we track through geolocation.

I was recommended to them by a friend. They were very knowledgeable. We agreed on our approach for how to help the company grow.

We’ve spent less than $5,000. Our industry is very fragile. For example, with the pandemic, the tourism industry isn’t working very well which is the reason why we haven’t invested as much as I would like in their services.

We started working together in June 2018, and the work is ongoing.

Pre-pandemic, I was happy with the results we got from their work. they managed to get everything I asked for. Whenever we sit down and I have an idea, they make that idea come to life. I’ve gotten positive feedback on their work.

Most of the time, we communicate through video call platforms like Skype.

They’re good at what they do. They always try to think through what you have to say and the idea that you have. If they don’t get it, they’ll take the time to understand it first.

From my perspective, no. However, I’m not an IT expert.
