He understands the situation and urgency of things when they don’t fall into the standard process and provides excellent support when things don’t go according to plan. Be open and flexible to hear alternative answers. Especially if you’re not a technical professional, you may think you need a website, but maybe you need Microsoft SharePoint or something else. Be open to understanding why they might suggest or not suggest something.

Dyrand’s overall project management has been structured and reliable. From the outset, they assigned a dedicated project manager and clearly mapped out milestones, timelines, and deliverables. We received regular status updates (via email and scheduled check-in calls), and any changes in scope or priorities were documented and discussed before implementation. This gave us good visibility into what was happening and when. In terms of timelines, key deliverables were generally completed on or before the agreed dates. On the few occasions where tasks took longer than planned (for example, when dependencies on third-party vendors or internal approvals caused delays), Dyrand flagged the risk early, explained the impact, and provided revised timelines. As a result, there were no unexpected or unmanaged delays on critical items. Dyrand has been responsive to our needs, particularly when urgent issues arose. Day-to-day requests logged through their ticketing system typically receive a timely acknowledgement and follow-up, and more complex or strategic needs are escalated quickly to senior engineers or leadership.

The manager at the time was fairly effective in the first year, but changes made in the second year we felt improved that account management even more so and now we feel Synditech is meeting many of our newer needs and requirements for projects such as Windows Server 2019 upgrades, major Checkpoint version upgrades and management, and WAN improvements in the infrastructure. Synditech continues to assist in annual SOX audits as well. Knowledge of networks and firewall, team is well diversified and understands and helps our other regions on many occasions without cause that it's out of scope, they are always willing to help when we are in an urgent situation. This is what distinguishes them from others.
