The graphics were done in a very timely manner and they were fantastic! I didn't have to change much and any time I had a small change to make, it was done quickly and professionally. Another area that they are overseeing is the PPC, the product is very new so it is not showing a lot of movement yet in this area but I have seen up to 5 sales in a day, which is a great start!

First, the Spectrum BPO team conducted an audit of my Amazon Seller's Account, including Ads, PPC, Budget, Content, Keywords, and competitive analysis.  Then, we worked together to implement their recommendations.  In the first 90 days, the performance data showed trend lines in the right direction for all key indicators such as number of impressions, conversion rate, PPC cost, among others.  We review the monthly performance data in a video call and discuss opportunities for improvement.  In addition, the Spectrum team has identifed other opportunities for me to develop new products based on attractive markets, as defined by key indicators.

Our company buys products from different brands in bulk, repackages them into smaller presentations, and sells them. We have a presence on different third-party sales platforms, including Amazon, Wal-Mart, and eBay, being Amazon the most important point of sale for us.

I’m the head of the creative team, so I’m in charge of getting all the listings created and doing all the backend work to ensure that our products have the best chance to be sold.

We had a high quantity of listings that we needed to create, so we hired Spectrum BPO to help us with a couple of brands that we offer, including school supplies, candies, and sprinkles.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Spectrum BPO helps us get our products’ listings created. They create a lot of listings quickly for us so that I can focus on other things.

We use Google Sheets to collaborate so that we can work at the same time. On the spreadsheets, I put all the information that they need to create the listings. As I mentioned, we sell a lot of candy, so I add information such as the ingredients, the colors, a lot of descriptive terminologies, photos, and the information of one or two competitors.

Spectrum BPO then does keyword research and competitor analysis. From there, they provide us with the product description, the title, five key product features, the search terms, and five subject matters in which the product fits. They also offer paid advertising, but we decided only to use them for the products’ listings.

What is the team composition?

I’m in a group chat with five people from Spectrum BPO, but I mainly work directly with one person, who I believe is a manager. Underneath this person works a content writer who writes the descriptions and features of the products. Additionally, my first contact with them was through Awais (Professional Freelancer).

I found them on Upwork. After contacting them, I had a meeting with Awais and went through a small interview process. He provided me with some examples of their work, and the price range fit my budget, so we started working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to Spectrum BPO’s involvement, I’ve been able to step away from the listing process, no matter if it is a hectic time for our business. I just update the spreadsheet as needed. This has also helped us expand our product line.

Everything has been great from their end, too. They’ve maintained their offer as initially discussed. For example, I recently needed around 15–20 listings done quickly, and Spectrum BPO added a couple of people to our tasks at no charge. It is awesome to see how willing they are to help us.

How did Spectrum BPO perform from a project management standpoint?

Working using Google Sheets is great because we can work simultaneously and not interfere with each other. Additionally, my main point of contact gets back to me within five minutes almost every time, and we have no communication issues whatsoever. We communicate via Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Spectrum BPO’s willingness to help and adjust is impressive. It is great to see them add a couple of resources to their team when needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Spectrum BPO can only complete three variation listings per week. In my opinion, they could do a couple more. However, I like their attention to detail, and I wouldn’t want them to rush and create bad listings.

I saw an immediate impact of their work. Before bringing them back, I was in a position to absorb all of our Amazon responsibilities. We had someone in place that was trying to do that job but they were ineffective. I felt the full weight of how unsustainable they are.

Although dollar-wise it wasn’t a flip of a switch, we’re definitely trending in the right direction; I attribute that growth to the work we’ve been doing with Spectrum BPO. We’ve saved a lot of time, and our PPC is performing much stronger than before.  

They’re a very responsive and easy team to work with. They’re much faster and less stressful than other providers we’ve worked with in the past.

We did our SEO in-house years ago, and when we changed platforms, we lost all of it. Spectrum BPO brought us back from the dead. For PPC, they’ve taken over and now handle everything. I’ve been impressed with what they’ve done and the detail they’ve had with the click funnels, setting up the campaigns, and testing things.

Additionally, they do social media marketing for Facebook. They’re also doing Facebook and Instagram advertisements. Finally, spectrum BPO does all the writing for everything they’re doing — mainly the website and content.

I’ve worked with 20–30 people. There are 15 people on my SEO team, with a specific person for each area, and another group of 10 people. They talk to each other whenever I have issues. I work with the senior people on their end. They communicate and have their workers just like a regular company.

Their communication is exceptional. In the past, it would take me days to hear from someone else, which was the most frustrating thing in the world. Spectrum BPO communicates with us all the time. They check in and give me a daily report. We use Skype, and they also schedule calls once in a while. They just get things done and are great at what they do. I wish I’d found them 15 years ago.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve been so impressive. I know the difference between someone who knows what they’re doing and someone who doesn’t, and I haven’t had to handhold Spectrum BPO through the process. Also, I’ve been impressed with the creative work they’ve done and the way the campaigns are set up.
