What challenge were you trying to address with Orbit Infotech?

We needed help with mobile app design and development for a stock trading company in India.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Orbit Infotech designed and developed a mobile app from scratch using Node.js and Flutter. We provided them with our idea and a workflow, and they were in charge of the design and color scheme. Based on our requirements, they incorporated third-party extensions into the app. 

What is the team composition?

I worked with a project manager and a designer from Orbit Infotech, and 4–5 more people were working in the background.

We found them on Upwork.

How much have you invested with them?           

We spent $18,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–November 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Currently, there are around 10,000 users on the app.

How did Orbit Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

They broke the project down into four milestones. Although there was a delay in the delivery of the first milestone, the team ultimately completed the project on time. We used Trello for project management. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed that everything went fine with the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should focus more on the pre-project documents; they took a bit more time with that than expected.
