I’m the project coordinator of an oil manufacturing company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Leora Solutions?

We were seeking new software to facilitate our B2B interactions. As we receive online orders, we needed a system that could handle multiple billing processes. We suspected that standardized e-commerce software wouldn’t be able to accommodate our business needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided Leora Solutions with insight into our process and challenges, and they delivered wireframes. They proceeded to build the supply chain management software utilizing PHP and SQL for backend work.

The finished product includes basic features like a chat function, order creation, tracking, and stock check. Our latest transport module allows shipments to be appropriately allocated. It’s a sophisticated feature which utilizes several checkpoints to make sure we haven’t hit maximum capacity in our transport power.

Although the project officially concluded in the end of July, they’ll continue to make necessary adjustments and error fixes.

What is the team composition?

The team fluctuated between 10–20 people.

How did you come to work with Leora Solutions?

We approached and had discussions with a few different development companies. We found Leora to be a good fit because they had a sizable team. On top of understanding our business processes, they also excelled in mobile app development. This was appealing because we’re interested in pivoting to a mobile system in the future.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $14,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began in January and finished in July 2019. They’ll continue to provide troubleshooting support.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve responded positively to their work. In the very beginning, we had a few bugs but they sorted those out immediately. They’ve worked very closely with us and they’ve been reliable in monitoring all of our progress.

They’ve also provided great guidance. They helped with the training sessions to familiarize our staff with the software, which was extremely fruitful.

How did Leora Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They had a great team that provides constant support. They have a few tools for communication, but we primarily communicated through their website, by phone, and in person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They won’t hesitate with any task, even if it’s something they’ve never done before. They’ll take up any request head-on.

Are there any areas they could improve?

In a single instance, they took a little longer than requested to complete a progress report. That’s the only negative thing I could say about them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I definitely recommend Leora Solutions—they’re so supportive, and they’re also very in tune with market trends.
