I’m the business development manager of Back Office Pro, a business services company. We provide outsourced back office services, helping businesses streamline operations, scale production, and achieve cost savings while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely project delivery.

What challenge were you trying to address with Outsource RCM?

We hired Outsource RCM to streamline and optimize the revenue cycle operations for Back Office Pro, with the goal of improving billing accuracy, reducing claim denials, speeding up reimbursements, and lowering operational overhead. The objective was to ensure a more efficient, compliant, and scalable RCM process so our internal team could focus on core business growth.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Outsource RCM managed end-to-end RCM for Back Office Pro, including billing, coding, claims processing, denial management, AR follow-ups, and reporting resulting in faster payments, fewer denials, and improved cash flow. The team was primarily involved in insurance eligibility verification, medical billing and coding, claims submission, denial management, and AR follow-ups for Back Office Pro.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our project with Outsource RCM delivered clear, measurable improvements for Back Office Pro. We saw a reduction in claim denials, faster reimbursement turnaround, and a noticeable improvement in AR aging. Billing accuracy increased, follow-ups became more systematic, and overall cash flow and revenue visibility improved, demonstrating the success of the engagement.Working with Outsource RCM for Back Office Pro resulted in 25%–30% fewer claim denials, 20%–25% faster reimbursements, and a 15%–20% reduction in aging AR, showing clear operational and financial improvement. Along with denial reduction and faster payments, working with Outsource RCM for Back Office Pro led to measurable gains in billing accuracy (up to ~95%–98%), a 10%–15% improvement in monthly cash flow consistency, and a higher first-pass claim success rate, further strengthening overall revenue performance.

They didn’t just execute tasks — they identified issues early, optimized workflows, and communicated transparently, which helped Back Office Pro achieve faster reimbursements, fewer denials, and more predictable cash flow.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, the experience with Outsource RCM was very positive. The only area for improvement could have been more frequent performance updates in the early phase of the project. Aside from that, their execution, responsiveness, and results for Back Office Pro met expectations.
