I'm founder and CEO of ICOA, an ICT consultancy and services firm based in Roma, Italy. We specialize in digital transformation, cloud computing and workflow automation. We also have a sizeable branch devoted to software and web development.

FSP Global has provided ICOA with two classes of services in the course of many years, during which we became more like business partners: help desk 24/7 first response - to us and though us to our clients, in several projects - and accounting/secretarial staff augmentation. Full disclosure: having developed a relationship based on mutual trust, we have started cross selling services to each other and today we provide them with consultancy, cloud services, tech support and more.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We scouted for a company providing call center services on the web and finally selected FSP for the good value they were offering (services over price).

Service class A: Help Desk first response, qualifying the request and activating the correct processes. Service class B: we had dedicated staff to supplement our accounting and secretarial staff on all duties which could be performed remotely (even opening the office's door); FSP helped in the selection of suitable professionals, their training and management. Especially strong in credit collection. In all cases, FSP was able to integrate our software and technologies in their workflow.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the service?

We and our clients were very satisfied. Using and reselling FSP services has been not only cheaper than doing on our own but it also allowed us to do things that would be otherwise out of our reach in terms of availability and language support.

The people at FSP are very approachable. They know their trade and they don't make you lose time. They can also help you make your mind up and lay out your needs neatly. When it's time to write up an agreement, they are pretty accurate.

In a market that is squashed by low prices, FSPGlobal manages to provide quality and flexibility. Overall, you get good value for the money.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In some rare instances, the operators' accent can get in the way but it's not an issue that can be blamed on them specifically. We also always relied on our systems for keeping track of the agent's activity but as far as I know no default automatic, periodic report is provided.
