The goal of the project was setting appointments for our single sales rep. We needed a full-service, multi-channel demand gen engine, and Callbox provided it.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We wanted full service, from list building to copy to execution. Plus we wanted multi-channel, more than just emails or phone calls. Callbox provides the full range of demand gen services and capabilities ideal for a thinly staffed company like AutoPylot Technologies.

We worked together to build a list of target accounts, along with prospect roles and job titles. We worked together to create a landpage, email/messaging copy and a calling script. They provided feedback on best practices from their experiences. We were able to turn up a multi-channel demand gen program in under 4 weeks.

Our primary contact is a day to day program manager. We have weekly update calls with the extended team which include calling, emailing and SEO resources. I appreciate that Callbox will come to the weekly review with recommendations for changes or adjustments to the program based on the results we are receiving.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the service?

We're still early in the engagement, but we went from zero to 10s of companies trialing the AutoPylot solution. We knew we had a good product, Callbox connected us with the decision makers so we could tell our story.

Callbox does what they say they are going to do. We have a weekly check-in, but our program manager is available any time during the week.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Callbox is an experienced demand generation company. They have honed their processes, skills, and team to be very effective. For a small company like AutoPylot with limited resources, Callbox was exactly the full-service 'engine' we needed to get connected to our prospective customers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It turns out our initial targeted list wasn't ideal. Within the first two weeks, we weren't getting meetings. Callbox came to us highlighting the problem and offering suggestions. In the end, we pivoted quickly and immediately saw the results both Callbox and AutoPylot Technologies expected. Kudos.

Jini Panogan was easy to work with and did a great job presenting the Callbox solution. The team Callbox provides has been great to work with and the Pipeline and the Hubspot tool have been excellent.

CLEARGOALS signed an initial three-month contract.  Callbox has assigned a team comprising a Customer Success Manager, a Production Manager, and a few supporting team members.  They have been working on calls, an email campaign and social channels.  We also have a weekly touchpoint where we discuss progress to date and feedback on how the calls, emails and social touchpoints are going.

We have been working with an AE, Customer success manager, production manager and a couple of supporting team members.

After our first 6 weeks, we have received 10 leads, and 2 are already opportunities.

The passion, clear communication, and ability to learn about our business and come up to speed very quickly.

We leverage Callbox as one of our primary resources for lead generation. - Our company has used Callbox to reach various industries and speak with senior members of those organizations. They have consistently performed and often outperformed our expectations for this type of service, from making the first contact, nurturing the prospect relationship, booking the first discovery call, and owning all of the touch points. They have always seemed to deliver.

We engaged a few companies that are in the lead generation space initially. After a few months we short-listed two companies, one being Callbox and start our campaign together.

The project is ongoing. Callbox has served as the primary source for lead generation for our company. They essentially operate as an extension to our sales team and handle a good portion of the necessary steps in the early stages of the sales process. We targeted certain geographic location and leveraged a dedicated team through callbox to utilize multiple communication channels.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

They have assigned one of their Operations Mangers, and she has two team leads that report directly to her. Each team lead has about 4-7 team members that work directly on our campaign across various communication channels.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have set a target of a certain number of new meetings each week, with clients who meet a certain criteria. We started out with one campaign and have since double that, and are negotiating adding a third Callbox team now.

They are essentially an extension of our current sales team. We rarely feel the difference since our priorities are aligned.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very consistent and effective. This very important for any sales process to succeed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They have constantly worked hard to refine and optimize our engagement. At this time I do not have any recommendations for further optimization of our partnership with Callbox.

Availibitly, Professionalism, and Pricing were some of the key factors in our decision. They offer a complete solution compared to other vendors.

The project consists of a 12-month support operation to help us elevate our sales. First, would be the evaluation period and then the implementation of the different outbound approaches to be conducted. Here we will evaluate will way we have a better conversion rate.

I was assigned to one representative and this person was involved with the rest of the internal team members. It's good this way as you get to speak directly just with one person. In my personal opinion, I'd rather just be in communication with 1 person, and this person executes internally with their team.

Our project is still ongoing in order to provide a measurable outcome but their communication and service its outstanding.

The management is very specific on their needs and makes sure all the necessary information is taken in order to reach the desired goals. All formal communication is done via email, and they manage good time management in their responses.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Callbox provides support from scratch, and they ensure they support your project each step of the way. I'd like the most that so far the different tools are being used to make sure the perfect outbound channel is maximized.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. I'm very happy with the experience.

We searched for lead generation firms with a long track record of success, broad service offerings, and an affordable service. Callbox was the most professional of these.

Callbox provided a curated list of prospects based on our ICP. They then created and executed a multitouch outreach campaign across phone, Google Adwords, Linkedin, and email channels. They booked meetings with prospects who then spoke with our partners (equivalent to account executives).

We have a customer success manager who quickly responded to our feedback.

We have gotten significantly more intro meetings with potential clients and are pleased with the results thus far.

Their professionalism and ability to speak English perfectly are impressive, even though their entire team is located in the Philippines.

Took a little bit of coaching to get the calls smooth, and they require very strict scripts. Little creativity in terms of the overall service, but it is executed well nonetheless.

CallBox has a unique system of touching potential customers in multiple ways as to gain their interest. their system was unique and the price point made it cost effective.

They made cold calls to small and medium sized business looking to get in touch with C-suite people or owners for our team to meet with. they communicated the information via Hubspot a tool that they provided to us.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with Melisa and her team. They were wonderful to work with, and we communicated regularly. Melisa was extremely responsive as was her team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the service?

The appointments that they set and they confirmed for us were great. We were able to meet with 9 out of 10 of them at the time it was originally schedule for and they knew exactly why we were coming.

Melissa and I communicated via email regularly and used Hubspot for lead information.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of the appointment was GREAT. No fluff and no forced appointments. These were people who were interested in speaking to us.

I wish we could have gotten creative in a payment plan to continue out project together.

We selected the vendor after reviewing many others and when we interviewed them, we felt very comfortable the they can represent our company very well.

I believe we worked with at least 5 individuals including the telemarketers assigned our account.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The CallBox did meet our objective and were flexible enough through the early part of the relationship which allowed us to make numerous changes to the approach and expectations.

Their workflow is very effecitve, and they deliver on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The reporting and follow-up with any deliverable we agreed to.

There is always different ways of how you accomplish the same objective. I believe understanding what we consider to be an ideal customer is something that could have been vented a little more to help speed the process and minimize the unqualified prospects.

We’ve been working with Callbox since January 2007.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their previous business model had us paying a flat fee whether we get new clients or not but in our last negotiation, they were willing to modify their model and guarantee a certain number of appointments for a certain fee.

How did Callbox perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very responsive from a project management perspective, and we typically communicate through email and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their communication skills and willingness to adapt to our needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They need to tighten up their timelines in order to follow up with prospective clients more consistently.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re willing to prepare your project with you, so make sure you spend enough time doing that before starting the engagement — ensure that they understand your business and how it works.

Metropark Communications is a telecommunications company the St. Louis MO. We work with all businesses, in all industries, of all size. I am the Director of Sales.

We hired Callbox for lead generation and appointment setting.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The owner took a call from a sales rep and they sold the company well. Then we spent a ton of money and got next to nothing. I would set more of my own appointments in a month then the entire team at Callbox.

There were at least 2 people to be calling in person to set in person appointments for our sales team. There were also a team of other individuals that were connecting and working on setting appointments via linkedIn and other social media. The goal was to set a 15 appointment, in person, for a Metropark rep. No sales involved for the Callbox team.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Jesper and Faith. I would get an email with the stats on Tuesday and then they would read those to me on Wednesday....

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the service?

This was a waste of time and money for Metropark. Should have a very easy project for the Callbox team and we received less than what was promised. We were promised around 2-6 leads a week and maybe received that per month if we were lucky. Then of those leads, most all were phone calls and not in person, and then they would not answer the phone.

Not sure there was any.... The initial start was managed to ensure that all monies went thru from Metropark, but then I'm not sure if much work was actually done. There was even a few numbers of ours we added to the lists and they were NEVER called...

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Cant say there is anything that I find unique outside of all the money needing to be paid up front. Will never do that again....

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm not a lead generation firm, that is not my call. That is why we paid you. I know that speaking more clearly and not reading from a script (that sounds like the first time you have ever read it) is not helpful to get people to keep talking to you. In April 2021, I was walking your callers thru how to talk on the phone... That is embarrassing.

We were looking for them to be an alternative to hiring full-time sales representatives, as well as looking to ramp up our account-based marketing strategies.

What was the scope of their involvement?

One of the services I offer is lead generation, so by partnering with Callbox, I was able to scale my team and deliver a larger number of set appointments per month. First, I provided a list of criteria, and then they went away to create a tailored plan (scripts, etc.), which I approved. After that, I stared receiving work immediately.

What is the team composition?

Katrina, an account manager, is our main point of contact. I mostly associate with her. Of course, inside the team there’s a number of folks that help assist us, including a number of cold callers that will be scheduling appointments. I’m not in touch with those resources but they support the initiative well.

How did you come to work with Callbox?

I was doing some research and came across their LinkedIn page, and one of their people actually messaged me. I enjoyed their account-based marketing approach to the project because it aligned with what I was trying to accomplish: building a multi-channel touchpoint that targets customers on LinkedIn for emailing and cold calling. I wanted to understand how they went about their process.

I spoke with them a number of times before moving forward with them, dating back a year and a half before this engagement began.

How much have you invested with them?

We’re going to spend around $25,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since April 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Even though we just started a few days ago, we’re going to have a mix of very specialized metrics and very basic metrics, depending on the end-client I’m leveraging them for.

How did Callbox perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re fairly responsive. Located in the US in California, they’re only three hours behind me. I speak to them over Zoom and email. It doesn’t take more than five minutes for them to respond.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of their major advantages is that they’re a unique service. If you’re a small company and need to build your sales team or marketing department, then they’re a great team. Filling the role of three positions —head of marketing, and head of business development, and head of sales development — they are a more effective avenue than hiring three full-staff employees.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not yet. They do everything but close the business; you have to pick it up off your doorstep and handle that part.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

This would depend on the persons business model, but say if you’re a small company with 10–20 employees and are looking for a way to ramp us sales. They’re a good, solid choice.
