I would say to make sure that you know your business in order to educate them. They need to know almost as much about your business as you do. When you don’t have the expertise to build the site yourself, you need to make sure the people you hire to build it for you can translate what you’re telling them into graphic design and an intellectual property you’ll be proud of. Otherwise, it’s just a website.
