I’m the CEO of PMaaSHub, a marketplace that connects businesses with certified project managers. We offer flexible, on-demand project management services to help organizations efficiently deliver projects without traditional hiring.

What challenge were you trying to address with DEVDAT?

I engaged DEVDAT to design and build the foundational technical infrastructure required to launch PMaaSHub as a scalable, marketplace-based platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DEVDAT has been responsible for designing and developing the foundational technical infrastructure for PMaaSHub, a two-sided marketplace platform connecting businesses with professional project managers. The scope of work includes full-stack development, deployment setup, and core marketplace functionality required to launch phases 1–3 of the platform.Specifically, the objectives have been to develop a functional two-sided marketplace architecture, implement a project manager registration workflow, create a business-facing browsing and search capability, and implement an admin approval and verification process. Other objectives include implementing secure authentication and data management, creating a user account creation and login, implementing role-based access controls, and creating a structured database architecture for profile storage and search.DEVDAT has also been tasked with enabling scalable hosting and deployment, integrating with Vercel for frontend hosting, configuring the Supabase backend, and creating a clean deployment pipeline for iterative development. The team has also been responsible for creating a payment-ready infrastructure, integrating the Stripe Connect framework, and creating a future-ready monetization model.Additionally, DEVDAT has been tasked with building a clean, modern, and professional UI, creating a marketplace-style interface, and creating a profile presentation structure. The team has also been responsible for creating an admin dashboard foundation, preparing the platform for phase-based expansion, ensuring the architecture supports ranking logic, allowing for future performance scoring, and supporting scaling from initial project manager onboarding to larger volumes.The goal has not just been to build a website but to create a technically sound, investor-ready foundation capable of supporting controlled growth and marketplace functionality.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

DEVDAT has delivered a fully operational MVP capable of onboarding project managers, allowing business search functionality, and supporting administrative oversight and future growth. At this stage of PMaaSHub’s development, our primary focus has been on technical validation and infrastructure stability rather than large-scale user acquisition metrics. Because the platform is currently in phase 3 (pre-growth activation), full marketing and onboarding campaigns have not yet been launched, so traditional marketplace KPIs such as high user registration volume, transaction throughput, or revenue generation are not yet the primary performance indicators.Instead, we’ve been tracking technical and operational metrics, including successful production deployment through Vercel, backend stability and uptime via Supabase, authentication functionality, admin approval workflow performance, Stripe integration validation in test mode, and overall page responsiveness. These indicators have confirmed that the platform is stable, operational, monetization-ready, and structurally prepared for controlled growth. Formal user growth KPIs — such as registrations, active users, inquiry volume, and transaction metrics — are scheduled to be implemented as the platform moves into its active onboarding and expansion phase.

How did DEVDAT perform from a project management standpoint?

So far, DEVDAT has been on time with all phases. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their professionalism and willingness to try out my vision rather than push me into something else impresses us.

They helped launch our product on-time and under-budget. They also provided guidance and valuable feedback for areas not fully under their scope of work.

Quick to respond. Very well organized. At one point they did a deep dive into progress to ensure us we'll launch on time that made it very clear what next steps would look like. Great time management.
