Founded in 2019, Valere has grown from a startup software development firm into a global technology company with more than 200 employees and an award-winning AI practice. As an AWS Advanced Tier Partner and recognized on Clutch as a leader and top AI development services company, Valere delivers operational AI built on deep business context. As its business has evolved, so has the type of work it takes on, moving from early-stage app development to complex technology and AI transformation engagements for mid-market and enterprise organizations.
Today, Valere helps organizations learn, build, and scale AI solutions through strategy, implementation, workforce training, custom software development, and managed services.
That evolution has also changed what Valere needs from its marketing. Larger technology engagements require significant investment, and prospective clients often conduct extensive research before choosing a partner. For Valere, establishing credibility early in the buying process has become essential.
That is what brought the company back to Clutch.
Valere had maintained a presence on Clutch for years and built an extensive collection of verified reviews. After stepping away from its premium presence, the company re-engaged with Clutch in early 2026 with a broader strategy: use that established credibility to generate new business.
For Valere President Alex Turgeon, the value of a strong review presence extends beyond traditional search. As more buyers use AI-powered tools to research potential providers, third-party validation can help companies stand out during the evaluation process.
“What we saw with Clutch and wanted to also invest in was around this idea of AEO and recognizing that so much of discovery in the land of LLM is often associated with this idea of avoiding regretful purchase decisions,” Turgeon said.
That made Clutch a natural fit for Valere's broader acquisition strategy. Its reviews, case studies, and testimonials provide prospective buyers with evidence of the company's work before they ever enter a sales conversation.
Valere then expanded its approach, using the Clutch Pay Per Lead (PPL) Program to actively generate new opportunities.

The PPL program has become a meaningful acquisition channel for Valere, generating approximately six qualified leads per month.
More importantly, Turgeon says the program is delivering a net positive return on investment.
“I'm net positive with Clutch,” Turgeon said. “Percentage-wise and return on investment, it has been a very good platform for that.”
For Valere, however, the goal isn't simply to maximize lead volume. The company works primarily with organizations that have the budget and complexity to support larger technology engagements, so the quality of an opportunity matters as much as the quantity.
Through its experience with the program, Valere has refined the types of opportunities it pursues and learned which leads are most likely to align with its business. That process has helped the company focus on the opportunities that matter most: legitimate prospects with the budget and intent to support larger technology engagements.
The value of those qualified opportunities has extended beyond individual projects.
One technology company discovered Valere through the PPL program and initially engaged the company for a single project. The relationship has since expanded into three or four additional engagements, with Valere becoming a trusted technology partner supporting the organization and its clients.
In another case, an enterprise prospect took an extensive approach to evaluating potential providers. After identifying several potential partners, the prospect conducted deep research across multiple sources, including third-party review platforms like Clutch, before ultimately selecting Valere.
The two experiences demonstrate how Clutch contributes to Valere’s sales funnel, supporting both fast-moving opportunities from ready-to-buy prospects and longer sales cycles involving extensive research and evaluation.
The combination of qualified opportunities, positive ROI, and an established review presence has encouraged Valere to increase its investment in Clutch. More than half of the company’s current engagements now center on larger AI transformation initiatives spanning learning, building, and scaling, and Valere sees an opportunity to expand its Clutch presence as its business evolves.
“We have continued to increase our spend with Clutch every month,” Turgeon said. “Once we saw the return on the investment ... this was one, going to be viable on our end, but two, this is a platform that we can build a deeper partnership with.”
For Valere, Clutch has become more than a source of leads. Its established review presence builds credibility, as the company continues to grow.
