Me and my partner launch clothify fashion startup in July 2022 in small shop. Business grew in just 6 months and we started getting around 800 to 900 customers a month that attracted by our unique products.

To reach people in Poland, we got an idea to launch website and application for our business. We got reference from our college friend who is also an entrepreneur and worked with Hyperlink Infosystem. Till now 80% of development is completed and we are excited to launch our business online soon.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

Before this project arose, we were manually operating service providers near our customers' areas via phone calls. Our customers called us asking for electricians or plumbers, for example. Offering our services via phone calls was lengthy, as the manual processes required attending calls and connecting homeowners or landlords with the service providers.

To avoid those lengthy processes, we decided to create a solution that connected our customers directly with the service providers in a way that we could add service charges. We first thought of creating a web platform. Nowadays, everyone wants a mobile app for anything. Thus, we decided to create a mobile app as well. However, we had a limited budget, so we hired Hyperlink InfoSystem to help us with this project instead of hiring local developers.

We haven't seen actual results from this project yet since the app is still under development. Still, my partner and I have this vision that, as founders, the app will minimize our workload. Additionally, it'll allow us to relocate our staff more efficiently.

We currently have 7–8 in-house employees, which are dedicated to communicating with customers and providers. Once this app is launched, our staff's workload will decrease immediately, allowing us to focus on our services and get more business.

How did Hyperlink InfoSystem perform from a project management standpoint?

The project is still on track thus far, and we haven't had major concerns in that regard. We've had 4–5-day delays, but those are totally understandable, and we can deal with those. Overall, they've achieved a good project execution.

I would like to congratulate our project manager. He's my main point of contact from Hyperlink, and he's in charge of answering our queries and providing updates.
What did you find most impressive about them?

Hyperlink InfoSystem's honesty and transparency are the main things I can highlight about them. As mentioned, they sometimes are unable to deliver on time. However, they always give me a heads-up in advance, detailing the reasons why they won't be able to meet the deadline and asking for a new delivery date.

Additionally, they don't only focus on the money. Sometimes, we've also had delays in their payments, but they've understood that ours is a long-term relationship, which is good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although Hyperlink InfoSystem has delivered quality designs, it would be great if they improved their testing by putting more human effort into that part.

We started our business in 2022, right when the whole world was still in lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the lockdown, we noticed that people still connected with each other through the internet. Thus, we wanted to leverage the easiness of how people connected with each other.

Although we knew that social media channels like Facebook and Instagram were already there, we thought that there were more entertainment and commercial opportunities that people could enjoy. Therefore, we came up with a new concept where people could find others nearby, such as their neighbors or other people living near them, and connect with them. Our main goal was to bring users a sense of community and happiness by sharing what they were doing with others.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperlink InfoSystem has helped us develop a social networking mobile app for Android and iOS. Throughout the project, they've asked many questions so that there's no doubt about what they're building. Currently, they're implementing a payment gateway. Our contract includes the promotion of my app once we launch it. However, if we want other marketing services for the app, we'll initiate that discussion once we finish the project.

How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

When this project arose, we looked for top development companies on Google. We looked at different companies across the globe, connected with around 22 of those, and filled out inquiry forms. Some of those companies called us, and some others contacted us via email. During this process, we discovered that Hyperlink InfoSystem was a global company, so they also had offices in New York City.

After our first call, we arranged a meeting with the salesperson from their team. He came to meet me at my office, and we discussed the new social networking app we were trying to do and what we were trying to achieve with it. After that, we had a call with Hyperlink InfoSystem's technical team. In addition to that, we did our due diligence and checked them on Google to see if they were reliable and within our budget before we hired them.

The initial budget for this project was around $49,000. However, after adding some things, the budget has increased by around $14,000–$15,000.

We started working together in December 2023, and our engagement is ongoing. Currently, about 75%–80% of the project has been completed.

We haven't completed the project yet. Still, Hyperlink InfoSystem has delivered on time. 

How did Hyperlink InfoSystem perform from a project management standpoint?

Every 15 days, we meet via a Zoom call, and their team provides me with a demo of whatever they've been working on. Additionally, whenever they need more time, they let me know. For example, they've told me that getting approval from Apple or Google to publish our app will take about 5–6 days. In addition to Zoom, we also communicate via WhatsApp messages, and I've created a Skype group as well.

Our project manager is leading the whole project. More than a project manager, he has been a great partner to us because he provides suggestions and a point of view that's very beneficial to us. He hasn't restricted himself to the scope of work. Instead, he has provided his input so that we can achieve a better app with a better UX

What did you find most impressive about them?

One thing I really like about Hyperlink InfoSystem is that they don't treat me like a client; they instead feel like partners. Their approach is also reflected in their work because whatever they recommend is always good for us. Sometimes, it happens that we don't accept their advice. However, they keep providing their input, which is a great thing. They treat the project like their own, which is very positive.

Hyperlink InfoSystem can improve their design work regarding the UX, such as all the animations and other designs that relate directly to user interaction.

Be very clear about what you want to do from day one. Other than that, I can recommend Hyperlink InfoSystem. In fact, I've already recommended them to one of my family members.

The software had a dynamic approval process that could be used for any type of loan, like car and home loans. Hyperlink InfoSystem developed a completely white-label, cloud-based software. They built the frontend using React, and the backend was in Node.js.

Our app is a dating application, and we verify all users requesting their ID or license. Users can find all verified profiles in the app.

Additionally, there’s an admin panel to manage the profiles and hashtag functionalities to view and delete them if they’re irrelevant. We can also block and unblock users as admins.

We’re currently planning to do another development with them. We have a second project that will be more on the financial side, a fintech application. We’re in the process of finalizing everything and starting the next project.

We’ve worked with six people: a UI/UX designer, an iOS developer, an Android developer, a Python backend developer, a project manager, and a QA person. We interact with everyone daily.

The complete control of the project is on us. We’ve been working with the team for over six months, talking to them twice a day when we start and end our day. We get daily updates, and the team works around eight hours daily. 

We communicate through a WhatsApp group for quick chats, and our meetings are generally on Zoom. Hyperlink InfoSystem uses Skype internally and Jira for project management.

Most of the team is experienced, so they do a fantastic job. Their workflow and communications meet our expectations.

Before having this company, I was also the owner of a grocery market. In my experience, I noticed that customers tend to order items for home delivery. Based on that, I had the idea of approaching customers with a new platform they could use to reach out to us easily.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperlink InfoSystem has helped us develop an iOS and Android app. Our original idea was to create this platform as an online grocery ordering and delivering tool, not as a product specifically for a single supermarket. Although we initially intended to create a mobile app, we've added a web development part to the project as well. Currently, they're developing the website for us, and their team has added a few customizations to the platform, too.

Initially, I was in contact with Darshan (VP of Business Development). However, since the development process started, there have been 6–7 teammates involved in the project.

How did you come to work with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

We had already reached out to a couple of companies to help us with this project, but we were unable to find a local developer to assist us because they were very costly. At the time, my partner had less time than me to do proper research because she was still running a business on her own. However, I had recently sold my grocery market, so I had time available to choose the best available company.

Eventually, I found Hyperlink InfoSystem and contacted them. After two or three months of discussing the project with them and other UK- and India-based companies, I liked Hyperlink InfoSystem's approach the most, so we went with them.

For the first project, the iOS and Android app, I paid them around $38,000. For the website development project, Hyperlink InfoSystem has provided me with a quote of around $18,000.

We’ve been working together since around May 2023. Our engagement will continue for around three more months, according to what they've informed us.

I've met with my partner and a few friends, and they've all liked this platform. According to the prototype and everything Hyperlink InfoSystem has done, most of the functionality we wanted has been implemented. We have tried the platform ourselves and feel that it'll be very good. We're about to launch the first phase of the project, the iOS and Android app, and I think it will be a good product for this market because Helsinki has many grocery stores.

As for budget management, we've spent more than $50,000 to date, but Hyperlink InfoSystem is managing it very well. Their team has guided us through each and every stage of the project, so their project management has been very good overall.
