I think it's great how they break everything down and manage each bit step by step. There’s no over-complication; they keep things really simple. Not to mention the fact that they are so quick to get it done. I now have a beautiful site set up to get going with and I am so happy I reached out to them.

I am the owner of a private coaching and therapeutic services organisation. As an autism mum & advocate, I am passionate about helping parents with autistic children reach their fullest potential. What were your goals for this project?

To build a user-friendly website for our new business. Security is key and having expertise in the latest security measures by those building the website is essential.

We want to establish our presence as a start-up so creating a quality website that can drive loads of traffic and have intuitive connectivity across all of our marketing channels and provide a seamless customer journey is critical. Also, we need a website that is easy to maintain with very little expertise in this area.

Having researched a number of local providers (United Kingdom), including some quality website providers within my business networks, I checked out reviews but I wanted also to work with someone who had expertise with helping to build a website for coaching. Having further researched a number of coaching websites and networking with colleagues within this industry, received feedback about The Website Guys and their commitment to supporting new start ups in an innovative way and thought that their business practices aligned very closely with our company values and ways of doing business. Therefore, I knew that they were the right company to help move our company forward and where committed to be socially responsible. They were the right business to connect with!

Once it was agreed to work together, there was a very clear step by step process to set up each phase of the project. All interactions took place via email, with helpful, concise instructional videos, clear details on how to move seamlessly through every sequence.

To ensure quality control and provide an evidential trail, Google forms were used to document our side of the each procedural step so their team had all of the credentialing that was needed so they can provide for our needs. We were able to see the mock ups at key stages of the process and staged project updates were provided on 3 separate ocassions with a final handover document provided at the end of the project.

We were allocated a project manager who provided excellent customer service throughout the project. There were a team of people working behind the scenes but it was great to have the continuity of one really knowledgeable and helpful team member throughout.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was completed last week and will be launching the website imminently so will be happy to return within three months with any demonstrable outcomes of success at that time. 

From the initial discovery call through every step of the process, they were consummate professionals. I cannot impress upon you their high levels of knowledge and expertise in this area. But what set them apart was their commitment to having exceptional customer service and their customer journey process and ability to help you through every step of the without being patronising and using loads of ridiculous jargon has been truly remarkable.

It was a completely seamless and high-quality workflow at absolutely every stage of the process. I am so impressed with their high expertise and carefully focused plans underpinning their customer journey process.

As a complete novice and slightly retired technophobe. I felt our needs as a company and any queries that I may have had were acknowledged, listened to and supported every step of the way. I am the founder and CEO. We help client employees identify and solve problems using our video teleconferencing platform. Our facilitators work the team of 4 to 6 employees thru our 6 step program and ultimately implement and track the measure of the projects success over a year.

CEOs and managers are able to track the progress of the various projects and may even watch the team when it presents its idea and solution on the fourth session. They may also view the projects in the archive after they have been completed. We hire facilitators to run the projects on an as needed basis.

I had a dispersed array of intellectual property from Podcasts, Blogs, bookstore for my 5 books and a number of YouTube videos. The Free Guys were able to give me a website that accumulated all the IP together. It works as requested and I am very pleased with the results.

I had to load the content but they helped me transfer the wordpress media and blog files to the new wordpress program. It is a very nice looking website and now I am trying to optimize response times. But I am very pleased with the service the Free Guys delivered.

What were your goals for this project?

As stated above, I wanted a website to get my IP consolidated into a single website. It is important that my clients have a convenient center to read my blogs and video podcasts in one place. Now I have it. Fait accompli.

The project consisted of website development, from registering for a new host, transfer of domain name, transfer of email, choice and uploading of WordPress designs, configurations of site, SEO and analytics, and training on how to upload and manage content and the site.

I did my research, read tons of reviews and could not find the trick luckily. It's part of their commission-based business model with their web-hosting partner that I could benefit from.

Now that their part is done, I have an extensive handover document and a tailor-made video for myself in which they explain how exactly my website works and where I can find main functionalities to make changes and/or add content. I didn't have a website before and now I have one so that's the main metric.

The most impressive thing was they did great work at no cost.

Some of the videos that provide step-by-step instructions have outdated screenshots because the tools have evolved. It was still useful in understanding what needed to be done but it would be helpful if the screenshots were updated.
