We collaborated over email and the project was broken out into manageable steps which were often explained using a short video. The team created my website on Wordpress.

The company was a social enterprise, which I found really appealing.

The only thing I wish I had known going into the project, was that I would still have to upload the website and the images on my own.

straight forward communication with carefully prepared simple to follow processes ... backed up with some great You-tube videos ... so customer focussed throughout the project ... even a non-techy like me could follow everything ... can't recommend them highly enough ... Sven was extremely quick at sending instructions & responding to emails as well as being very patient and kind throughout ...

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's been simply amazing working with "The Free Website Guys." Words couldn't describe how good they were. It was a remarkable experience from start to finish.

I have absolutely no experience nor do I know anyone that could help with my Website design from the back end. I knew that this was going to cost me a lot of money, when I saw something, I can not recall if it was an advertisement or an email or post but I saw The "FREE" Website Guys and thought this must be my lucky day. I submitted my application or information and prayed for the acceptance call. I got the call saying that I had been accepted. I was elated.

Selecting this vendor was a no brainer. They were free as stated in their name. It didn't take me much convincing after that.

Their lead developer contacted me and we spoke a bit about what I wanted the workings of our website to look like. He sent me to a few places to view what I could choose from both free and paid for.

I consider myself fairly savvy with the online world, and understand how a lot of it works coming from a background in marketing. The downside, I'm not a developer or Web designer at all. My marketing background is more related to writing and communications.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Enter the team at FreeWebsiteGuys. They were great throughout this whole process. I was excited that they selected my project as one they'd work on, and am so excited to finally be close to launching this idea I've had and been brainstorming on for two years. Best of all, I now have a working website (that I need to update some images--but they showed me how!) that I can put out for the world to see. That part is amazing. If you're considering a website, but don't know where to start, give them a try. I did and I'm thrilled with the results!

The video tutorials and frequent updates were easy to follow and kept me informed along the way of what was happening with the website.

We have a website now, not much to benchmark of based on previous results.

They set up the project and also showed how best to utilize the features they enabled and how it can affected the business.

Fairly streamlined, not much to improve upon.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Sven and the Freewebsiteguys are absolute lifesavers and do incredible work. I had absolutely no idea of how to build a website, but needed it to be multifaceted so it could grow as my professional skills grow as well. Through each step of the process, they provided me with explanatory videos and documents showcasing how to proceed and were very transparent as to where they were in the creation process.

I also had a tight budget, which they not only respected, but went out of their way to present me with incredible deals for all the additional resources needed for websites such as web hosting and themes! I highly recommend the Freewebsiteguys and Sven for all of your website needs, and look forward to seeing how they grow in the future.

Everything was great: my only idea is to mention the fees for webhosting and extra custom web themes when first approaching someone with a pitch for website services.
