Sven and team were amazing to work with, considering they don't charge for their service the level of detail during the setup was very impressive. Right from the start they shared detailed resources in the form of videos and documents to take me through the steps involved in building a website for my Consultancy and to highlight clearly where my input was needed. Sven gave me regular updates and was really patient with my responses. I am really grateful to Sven and team for reaching out to me and helping me with laying foundations for my Consultancy by setting up the entire backend of my Consultancy's website."

We communicated through email and that is how we maintained contact during the process. We received regular updates by email, including attachments with photos and how to videos.

I got connected with Sven and his Free Website Guys team, through a referral. I’m glad I was open at the time to say yes. They were very thorough with the details, the steps were streamlined and easy to follow and a major one for me, they were patient. When I was referred to them, I had just gotten fired from my job and decided to redirect that rejection into working on my new business venture. So it was right on time for me. I absolutely loved that I was offered suggestions based on what works best. My website was completed with the theme I absolutely love! The instructions on how to edit and run my website on my own is everything to me. Easy to follow. Can’t wait to go live and have others ask “who did your website?” So I can happily say, The Free Website Guys!

I was reached out on LinkedIn by The Free Website Guys who let me know that they’d be happy to make a brand new website for free! I was pleasantly surprised and it almost felt too good to be true.

Nonetheless, I carried the process forward and Sven and his beautiful team at The Free Website Guys helped me launch Soapbox’s current website after about a month of initial comms. The website came out beautifully and I was let known of all the ins and outs of the design and creation process.

Sven’s team also put in some amazing plugins and got my site live on Google as well. Thank you Sven and the team at The Free Website Guys! You’re awesome.

This was going to be my first ever website and the challenge was to find a happy medium between what I wanted and what I could afford. They offered a free program where they would build a basic website for me as a way to build relationships and trust between us so they could potentially work on paid projects for me.

And they will! I already know their rate and am definitely planning on hiring them to develop my website more as my business grows.

My friend recommended them to me by a friend in my industry and the deciding factor was the communications that I had with one of their managers who was super helpful and transparent in explaining all the conditions.

Getting my website hosted with Bluehost (I already bought the domain prior to working with The Free Website Guys. Wordpress website builder (DIVI specifically) was used. I purchased the template I wanted for the website.

I recorded them a video of what I want out of the template on my website. They did their best to respect my wishes while also respecting the timing they have for each free project like that. Plus I have videos on how to edit my website from them.

I have been actively communicating with one person on their team but I am pretty sure he was not the builder of my website. He was one of the lead generators/customer service people and my website was one of the projects he was obviously leading since I received all the updates from him and sent all the information they needed from me to him.

I also received tips on how to edit my website from another team member who I believe was my website builder. So 2 people total.

When I was offered an opportunity to work with the Free Website Guys, I honestly thought it was a joke or even worse - a scam! But I am happy to say that I was mistaken 100% and the quality of my experience exceeded my expectations for sure!

The team was extremely communicative and supportive throughout the whole process, answering my questions and guiding me through all the steps. They saved me countless hours that I would spend on learning Wordpress for the first time. They also gave me educational videos that are easy to follow so I can modify the website as I wish.

They were able to follow my instructions on how I want to change the template to suit my needs almost to a t! I highly recommend their services to everyone who does not necessarily have the time to learn Wordpress or/and a big budget to build a website. The Free Website Guys will give a jumpstart to your business while you can be busy doing other important things to keep it running

I filled out a form about the website I wanted and from there it was a lot of emailing back and forth. Once the website was created, I picked a theme and submitted a video detailing what I wanted removed. The website was created on Wordpress.

The cost is free or very close to it! You only pay for the themes and extra add-ons, which are not required.

I can tell that they have a lot of clients, so it sometimes takes multiple days or a week for a response. I didn't have an issue with this but I could see this being an issue for other's working under a fast deadline.

They used wordpress to create my site. I had to choose the theme but they set it all up, including google aanlytics and search console. I had to do a lot of customization after they set up the skeleton and some basic customization.

They took a little while to answer because they were busy, but tha'ts ok because I was taking my time in getting back to them. I was not in a rush so I was ok with it. My communication was with one guy from their company and we just used the same gmail thread for the duration of the project.

A variety of individuals worked on the project, but TFWG lead developer, Sven, was primarily tasked with updating me on their progress and getting pertinent info throughout the process. Just needing to communicate with one individual helped streamline the whole experience.

I have a great looking PC and mobile website that I feel equipped to continue to edit and adjust content now and into the future (they provided videos to help with this that I've already had the opportunity to utilize in perfecting my website's content.

Sven did a terrific job keeping me updated on their progress, what was needed from me, what would be coming up, and if there was nothing specific to report, just that he would be reaching out once a certain step had be finalized. I knew where things were and what was needed from me without being bogged down in the IT details!

The communication and explanations as to why they recommended certain features over others (but offering options without getting overly complex in explanations) was extremely helpful. I would not have known where to start, but felt equipped to make informed decisions about my website and what would be needed.
