Someone reached out via Linkedin and I researched after. I decided to choose them based off of the cost, efficiency and great reviews.

I filled out a form about the website I wanted and from there it was a lot of emailing back and forth. Once the website was created, I picked a theme and submitted a video detailing what I wanted removed. The website was created on Wordpress.

I haven't launched my website yet but I am very happy with the way that it has turned out.

The Free Website Guys were very timely and they cared about my project.

The cost is free or very close to it! You only pay for the themes and extra add-ons, which are not required.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can tell that they have a lot of clients, so it sometimes takes multiple days or a week for a response. I didn't have an issue with this but I could see this being an issue for other's working under a fast deadline.

I can't remember but think I saw a post on a facebook group.

They used wordpress to create my site. I had to choose the theme but they set it all up, including google aanlytics and search console. I had to do a lot of customization after they set up the skeleton and some basic customization.

They produced a full site that displays all my videos and that I can now share as a portfolio site to potential employers and clients.

They took a little while to answer because they were busy, but tha'ts ok because I was taking my time in getting back to them. I was not in a rush so I was ok with it. My communication was with one guy from their company and we just used the same gmail thread for the duration of the project.

Their customer service and professionalism were impressive.

I can't really think of any. I'm very satisfied.

My experience with The Free Website Guys has been seamless and exceeded my expectations! The team's communication was clear, concise but appropriately detailed, and provided videos and explanations that gave insights as to how the process was going and what was needed from me without being overwhelming.

Upon completion, I felt equipped to be able to personalize my content and empowered to make future changes when necessary. I am excited to have a professional PC and mobile version of my website to grow my small business (at a far better quality than if I had attempted it on my own). Thank you!

A variety of individuals worked on the project, but TFWG lead developer, Sven, was primarily tasked with updating me on their progress and getting pertinent info throughout the process. Just needing to communicate with one individual helped streamline the whole experience.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have a great looking PC and mobile website that I feel equipped to continue to edit and adjust content now and into the future (they provided videos to help with this that I've already had the opportunity to utilize in perfecting my website's content.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Sven did a terrific job keeping me updated on their progress, what was needed from me, what would be coming up, and if there was nothing specific to report, just that he would be reaching out once a certain step had be finalized. I knew where things were and what was needed from me without being bogged down in the IT details!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The communication and explanations as to why they recommended certain features over others (but offering options without getting overly complex in explanations) was extremely helpful. I would not have known where to start, but felt equipped to make informed decisions about my website and what would be needed.

No! The Free Website Guys seem to have thought of everything! My experience with them was seamless and stress-free.

Informational/training materials provided in both document and video form, with next steps clearly identified for progress. Tracking of deliverables with reports also sent with each major step of the build achieved.

Sven emailed me about how the process would go. They needed my business name, I picked a website theme and they offered me the different options I had for website hosting. Once all that was picked they started working on the website. Everything took a little over a month to complete. They than gave me instructions on how to upkeep the website.

For the most part I only communicated with one person who was Sven. But I'm sure there were more people behind the scenes.

We still have not launched our site, but the theme and the design of the site looks so much better and professional.

Communication was very good. Timeliness also was good. I would say toward the completion I would've liked daily or every other day communication on the completion process.

I was impressed that they created a very amazing website and did it for practically free. I did pay a one time fee of around $35 for the hosting site but that was all I paid for!

Yes, you still have to add your own content and photos, but they offer excellent training videos and literally do everything else for you.
