The evidence of this engagement is that, we are having better lead management system. We can now easily keep records of all the leads and progress. We are not missing out on any lead. This system has saved alot of time and business.

They worked on time tracking tools through which we can keep the record of the project status and also they used trello to manage the tasks and provided me timely updates so I always knew about the progress of the project.


What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive thing about EmizenTech was, they always kept me as the part of their team or I would say the project which helped me know the progress and understand all the parts of the project and most importantly they delivered within their committed timeframe.

I personally don’t think that they are lacking in any aspect. They have the best team with a great approach, concepts, and communication.

The team made the backend such that I can track the stop loads and input details and updates. They are going to be working on some website projects, as well.

I’m the CEO of HairBow Center. We’re a crafting supplier. We sell ribbons and embellishments for the ribbon and hair bow industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Emizen Tech?

We were experiencing slow page loads, some generalized errors, and we mainly brought them in as a consultant to uncover where the real slowdowns were. On top of that, they helped with image optimization and loading processes to bring our pages up to speed.

It boils down to two different things. Initially, we contacted them to assist us with some website performance issues with our Magento 2 installation. Once we were comfortable with their level of expertise, we started asking them about what else they can do. We found out they were proficient in Python and a few other languages, so we had them write the code for our cloud-based ERP software.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, they helped us optimize the entire site. After that, they began working on our ERP system.

The first application we built with them was a cycle counting and inventory application to streamline our processes. Essentially, they created a mobile app that we can go in and quickly search for a groping of products that match a certain filter. It pulls data from our ERP through the API and displays it in a way that’s very user-friendly. It allows us to bulk edit and quickly push out corrected quantities of multiple items in a streamlined fashion.

Now we’re building a new that’s going to integrate messaging as well into our CRM and ERP. Basically, they’re tying that all together.

I found them on Clutch and read through their reviews. I found out that they worked with other companies with similar challenges and their reviews were very good. Then, in my initial conversation with them, they were very responsive and seemed to have a good handle on what we wanted to accomplish.

We started working together in February 2020 and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

 Regarding page speed, they were able to we were able to get about 30% improvement on the pages that they worked on. The app is fully live now and we’re using it. The app alone is going to save us between 30%–50% man-hours when it comes to doing large cycle counts. It’s a much better UI. They custom-designed it to fit our needs specifically.  

How did Emizen Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

They used a time tracking tool that they suggested, so I get reports. As far project management goes, our project manager and I check in on Skype several times a week to make sure everything is staying on track.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of their code is excellent. We’ve had to make very few revisions. Often, other offshore development teams struggle with understanding what we’re looking for. In contrast, Emizen Tech has done a very good job conceptualizing our vision and turning it into a reality.

I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about them.

They did perfectly. It’s one of the best automation systems in the world. They’re a good company. Whenever you deliver an IT product, there are some things that need changes, and they made those changes.

Project management was really good. They were very supportive and available 24/7. They delivered on time. I communicated with them via WhatsApp. My team communicated via email.

Communication was the best. Any company or project works on the basis of communication. If the communication is good, you can save a lot of time. They were always available, even on the weekends or in the middle of the night.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Emizen Tech developed our e-commerce website using Magento. They created it such that it has two parts. One is for bicycles and the other for the skateboards. The team added functionality in the bicycle section that allows users to browse available options and buy parts.

Additionally, users can rate the product, order the product, see the description, and also customize what kind of handle they want, etc. In the skateboard section, they added features that allow users to pick what kind of print they want on their skateboards. 

There are options available to choose from and users can also pay and track their delivery. Emizen Tech added the same functionality in the application, allowing people to log in, browse the products, place orders, and pay online.

I was in contact with the project manager, and there were 4–5 other people working on our project, including a business analyst.

They are reliable. We agreed on a fixed price and they stuck to the price. The quality of their work is good, and there haven’t been any bugs.

The project management was good. The team used Trello and Slack, and their communication was really good. I could reach the project manager at any time even in the middle of the night. It was a pleasurable experience working with them.

Emizen Tech grasped the American economy well. It didn’t require much effort to explain concepts such as taxes and shipping.

Stay in good communication. Use video and collaboration tools such as Slack and JIRA. Be sure to have the right tools in place when working with an offshore provider.

Fix bugs and add new features to our app using Native React, updating the libraries took them only 5 days! My previous contractor told me it would take up to 3 weeks. They have the skills and they are experts and time is an important factor so they never been late during my experience with them.

Khabeer App is a Native React project, this language is still buggy and unstable so we've had many challenges with the old vendor until we reached a dead end, our old vendor couldn't fix some bugs which they made in the first place, so EmizenTech made The app more stable, the app is faster now, features are working as they meant to be.

1 project manager and 2 developers. These developers made the impossible possible. I was so frustrated by our old vendor since we were running late and this small team fixed everything and helped us to continue our journey quickly.

Since we were not able to publish our app to the stores because the libraries are old, we finished updating them in 5 days, upload it to stores and continued working on fixing bugs and improve the reliability of the app.

The project manager was a very good partner in making this a good experience, the updates and tests are being done daily, that what did make it faster and better experience.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Time and quality, these things are the most important things in Mobile apps and development generally. EmizenTech actually shocked me when they did in 5 days what our old vendor couldn't do in 3 weeks! So i knew then that I've wasted a lot of my resources on the old vendor and i wish that I've known EmizenTech earlier.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Faster is not always the only thing, EmizenTech also fixed bugs that we thought we will never be able to fix them soon, they have received a code which they didn't make and analyzed it and started working on its weaknesses, we had approximately 15 bugs now we fixed most of them and we have only 1 minor bug left. This company made me forgot the Reworks.
