WebFX has built our entire digital strategy with us from the very beginning. When we started, our company didn’t have a marketing department or any previous marketing efforts — this was truly from ground zero. Over the past 4 years, we’ve worked on website design, PPC campaigns (Google, Bing, LinkedIn), geo-fencing, ad tech, LinkedIn content strategy, SEO (including AI-powered SEO), email marketing, product launch strategies, and many other initiatives. It has been a fully rounded, comprehensive marketing strategy.

On top of that, their proprietary tools allow them to organize every part of the process — from task management to communication — in an incredibly efficient way. But what truly sets them apart is their reporting capabilities. The level of real-time data, transparency, and actionable insights they provide is the most comprehensive I’ve seen in my 20+ years in marketing, including my experience working with worldwide agencies. Their system allows us to make fully data-driven decisions with complete confidence.

Overall, I wouldn’t change much — the team has been excellent and very supportive. If anything, one area that could be improved is their video creation and editing capabilities. Project Description

Develop a live/instant quoting system for LTL and FTL shipments, integrated into our website. The goal is to provide users with an easy-to-use quote generation tool while capturing leads and seamlessly integrating with Nutshell and our internal systems.

Workflow Overview

User Initiates Quote:
The visitor clicks "Get a Quote."
They identify as either a business or individual shipper.
They select between LTL or FTL quoting.
Form Completion:
Based on the selection, the user is presented with a form tailored to either LTL or FTL.
They enter all required shipment details.
Lead Capture Before Rate Display:
Once the form is completed, they click "Get Rate."
We generate a unique “customer reference number”
Before the rate is displayed, the system requires them to enter their name, email, and phone number.
This information generates a lead, which is sent to Nutshell CRM and will be utilized in future steps if they proceed.
Rate Display & Booking Option:
After submitting their contact information, the system displays the available rate(s).
The user has the option to proceed by clicking "Book."
Booking Process & TMS Integration:
If the user chooses to book, the system:
Creates a customer organization and customer staff profile in TAI TMS.
Logs the quote details for future reference.
Finalization
The customer is presented with our contact info and informed that Green River staff will call to finalize. (any involvement with/from site essentially ends here)

My project manager was outstanding-Nikki Bonner.  She was an excellent communicator, helpful through the whole process and kept the project moving even when we bogged it down. We ended up being 3 months late on implementation but it was due to our team.

Webfx has their employees all on the same page. They provide excellent service and are a true partner. Questions are answered quickly and they are always there to help. I have developed a great relationship with my account managers and always look forward to speaking with them. I can't say that about other vendors.

The only thing I could think of is more training on Word Press.  We aren't working in it everyday and it is easy to forget steps so online videos or tutorials would be great.

The WebFX team is VERY dependable when it came to managing the project. They consistently delivered content, reports, and campaign updates on time on a month team call. Everything stayed on schedule without major delays.

They were also very responsive to our needs and quick to answer questions, make changes when needed, and suggest improvements. For example, they flagged outdated services and recommended upgrades to keep us competitive.

As for areas of improvement - honestly, nothing major stands out. If I had to pick something, maybe just continuing to explore even more creative campaign ideas or pushing us a little further outside our comfort zone now and then, but that’s more of a “nice to have” than a need.

They were able to focus on specific keywords of importance to us to increase their rankings measurably in search engines. We have monthly reporting meetings to discuss strategies and results.

They also managed our PPC accounts to improve general visibility, ad A-B testing, budget efficiency, and gaining better quality scores on keywords.

We also ended up contracting WebFX to redesign our website with SEO in mind. This is an ongoing project with delivery at the end of the summer.

WebFX did a custom website redesign for my company in May 2021. Their initial proposal was detailed and outlined exactly what to expect with each stage of the project:

1.Planning and Project management: This phase of the project included sitemap and content flow, design strategy and layout.

2.Design: We recieved multiple prototype mock ups for our home page and service pages along with a customized team page and 3 interactive site elements 

3.Responsive Design: Prototypes were given for desktop, mobile and tablet devices to ensure ease of use for customers. WebFX also used google analytics to create call to actions buttons across different devices and have continued to optomize these throughout our ongoing SEO marketing.

4.Content was origionally provided by our company and WebFX has continued to update and add content to optomize our results.

5.Other Elements: WebFX created standard blogs with wordpress blog module installation, a photo gallery with up to 50 photos, social media linking, set up google analytics and goal tracking along with a leads nurturing program.

Our ongoing SEO Marketing started with an initial technical SEO checklist included items such as broken link and internal crawl error corrections, local search optimizations, GMB optimizations, website audits, and image optimizations. We started with 150 keyword and 30 pages to optimize. Our analytics set up included conversion tracking, traffic analysis and google data highlights. We continue to have SEO content creation, web server analysis and optimization, and acquire quality backlinks. We have a monthly report and meeting to go over the data and key take aways.

As of this month our local SEO map views are up 217% and search views are up 51% in our year over year comparisson. We have 6 blogs leading our top organic pages by session. Our unique leads are up 96% in our year over year comparrison.

Across all channels Year over year our sessions our up 15%, and conversion rate is up 19%.

Year over year our calls are up 33% from organic searches. 

Overall our website has been working great, the design team did a phenomenal job and we get compliments on how professional our site looks and how easy it is to use and find useful infomation on.

The project management at WebFX is unmatched. Every item has been deliverd on time from our first phone call with them in 2021 to now. The communication throughout our website design and our ongiong SEO marketing has been fantastic. Every proposal is written out in specific detail so we know exactly what to expect from the work being complted to the pricing and timeline. As a small business our needs have changed over the years and they have been there to answer every question and to shift priorities or change directions when needed. We have a direct marketing advisor so communication is always streamlined and effective. Every month we have a meeting to go over our report and plans, and once a year they send out a form to fill out where we can give feedback on the amount of communication we recieve from them and their work in general.

The comminication and overall project management at WebFX is what has impressed us the most. My marketing advisor has taken the time to really get to know our companies values and our needs. They work with us to come up with solutions and ideas to help our company grow and have shown in many ways that we are more than just an account.

While I don't have anything speccifically in mind that they could improve at the moment, I will say they routinely ask for feedback so I know if there ever were an issue or area for improvement they have always been proactive in getting feedback and coming up with solutions that fit our needs.
