SoftDoes designed and built a custom, web-based financial planning and payment software for our orthodontic practice. The system allows our staff to input treatment and financial details, and enables patients or parents to review financing options remotely, select payment structures, and manage payments electronically over the full course of orthodontic treatment. BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the Founder of a photography company
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
We are professional photographers company specializing in atmospheric portraits, warm family stories, and romantic wedding photography
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
We run a photography company, mainly working on weddings, portraits and corporate events. Our website had been around for several years, and the client gallery section needed attention. The biggest issue was the experience after a shoot. Clients sometimes had trouble downloading their photographs, especially from mobile devices. My team was spending time answering questions that should have been easy to resolve through the website. We decided to update that part of the site before our next busy season.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
SoftDoes worked on the client gallery section of our existing website. They improved the mobile layout, reorganised the download options and made it easier for clients to access their private galleries. We also asked them to address loading times, particularly for wedding galleries containing several hundred high-resolution images.
One feature we discussed quite a bit was the download process. Some clients need full-resolution files for printing, while others just want photographs they can share online. We wanted those options to be clearly separated. Our company manager and I tested the updated galleries using different devices before approving the final version.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We compared client support requests before and after the update. Previously, around 30% of our gallery deliveries resulted in at least one question about downloads or access. During the first two months after launch, that dropped to approximately 8%.
Loading times improved as well. A typical wedding gallery now opens in about 3 seconds on mobile, compared with 8-9 seconds previously. Our studio manager estimates that the changes save the team around 4-5 hours each week during busy periods.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
The project was fairly straightforward. We agreed on the scope at the beginning, and SoftDoes shared updates as the work progressed.
There were a few rounds of revisions, mostly related to how galleries displayed on smaller screens. We sent examples from our own devices, and their team made the necessary adjustments. They completed the work within the agreed schedule, which was important because we had several large events coming up. They handled the project professionally, understood our requirements and delivered the changes we agreed on.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their attention to image presentation. For a photography business, the way photographs appear on a screen matters just as much as how quickly the website works. We had specific requirements for image proportions, thumbnail previews and gallery navigation. SoftDoes took the time to get those details right.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
A more detailed handover for our company manager would have been helpful. We had a few questions about the gallery settings after launch. Their team answered everything, although having those instructions ready from the start would have saved us some time.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
Before SoftDoes, one of the most frustrating parts of IT was simply figuring out who was responsible when something went wrong. We use several different systems to run the business, and our staff often had to contact different vendors, explain the same issue more than once, and wait while each side tried to determine where the problem was coming from. We hired SoftDoes to take ownership of that process and become the main point of contact for IT. Since then, our managers spend far less time coordinating IT issues themselves.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
SoftDoes handles our ongoing IT support, maintains our computers and user accounts, and takes care of routine technical work for the team. They also work directly with the software companies we use when an issue involves an external system. One example was our scheduling system. Updates were not always appearing correctly for part of the team, but the software provider told us the issue was outside their platform. SoftDoes investigated the problem from our side, contacted the provider’ s technical team, and stayed involved until it was resolved. That is generally how we work with them now: we send the issue to SoftDoes, and they figure out where the problem actually sits and who needs to be involved.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
1. Before SoftDoes, our managers were spending around 15-20 hours each month dealing with IT-related questions and trying to coordinate technical issues. That is now closer to 4-5 hours a month. 2. We also used to have problems with scheduling or staff access several times each month. Over the last quarter, we had 2 technical issues that affected normal operations, and both were resolved the same day. Those are the results that matter most to us because they show that our managers are spending less time on IT and that operational issues are being handled faster.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
I would not describe this as a traditional project because it is an ongoing managed IT service. Our team contacts SoftDoes directly for day-to-day support, so I usually only get involved when there is a cost attached to the solution or when we need to make a business decision. For larger changes, SoftDoes explains what they are planning and when the work will happen. That arrangement has worked well because our managers do not need to coordinate every technical request themselves.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
SoftDoes is particularly good at dealing with other software vendors. We underestimated how useful that would be when we hired them. We use systems from several different companies, and technical problems are not always clearly caused by one product or another. Having one technical team that can investigate the issue, speak directly with another vendor, and follow the problem through to a resolution has saved us a lot of back-and-forth. Yes, I would recommend SoftDoes to businesses looking for ongoing managed IT services, especially if they use several different software systems and want one technical team to coordinate support.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
We would like a little more advance notice when SoftDoes recommends replacing equipment. We had one case where the recommendation came fairly late in our budgeting cycle. It was not a major issue, but more lead time would make those purchases easier to plan.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
During busy periods, we receive bookings and customer enquiries throughout the day. We brought in SoftDoes to look after these systems and provide regular technical support. I wanted our managers to concentrate on preparing events and working with customers.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
SoftDoes started by checking how our website enquiries, booking records and internal calendars worked together. For example, a client could submit a request for an event through our website, but the manager would sometimes receive the notification 20-30 minutes later. SoftDoes investigated the issue, corrected the connection and set up monitoring so similar failures could be detected. They also worked on access permissions for our coordinators. When someone joined the team, we previously had to contact different people to arrange access to the booking calendar and customer records. SoftDoes introduced a standard setup process. They continue to maintain our systems, check backups and provide technical support when something goes wrong.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We tracked three improvements over the first few months:
- Booking notification delays dropped from around 8-10 incidents per month to 1-2.
- Setting up system access for a new coordinator now takes about 20 minutes, compared with roughly 1.5 hours before.
- Our office manager spends approximately 5 hours less per week dealing with technical questions.
We also completed a particularly busy weekend with 22 events and no booking-related system interruptions.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
We agreed that any planned system changes would happen early in the week. Thursday through Sunday is our busiest period, so we try to keep everything stable then. There was one Friday when a coordinator suddenly lost access to the booking calendar. We contacted SoftDoes in the morning, and they restored access in about 40 minutes. For regular maintenance, they tell us what they're planning and when it will happen. The communication has been straightforward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They pay attention to how our business actually operates. For example, they suggested keeping a separate backup of the upcoming weekend's booking schedule that our managers could access if the main system became unavailable. That was a useful recommendation because our coordinators need addresses, customer contacts and programme details throughout the day.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
There is nothing significant I would point to at this stage.

SoftDoes modernized a legal firm's internal application in stages, focusing on the parts that were actually slowing their staff down.

North Bridge Legal provides clear, strategic legal advice to individuals, families and businesses across Canada. From everyday legal matters to complex disputes, we help our clients understand their options, protect their interests and move forward with confidence.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
We needed to modernize an internal application we had relied on for years without replacing the whole system. SoftDoes focused on the parts that were actually slowing our staff down, and after the work, some larger case files that used to take around 20 seconds to open were loading in under 6 seconds, while document preparation time was reduced by roughly half. The application was still doing its job, but as our team and the amount of information in it grew, everyday tasks were becoming noticeably slower and more frustrating. A full replacement would have meant retraining staff, moving data, and disrupting a system people were already used to working with. We hired SoftDoes for enterprise app modernization because we wanted to keep what was working and improve the parts that were no longer keeping up.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The first few weeks were mostly spent understanding how the existing application worked and how our staff actually used it. SoftDoes spoke with the people who work in the system every day and looked at the areas where they were losing the most time.
They then updated the application in stages. The case and document sections came first, followed by search, user permissions, and several workflows our staff uses regularly. SoftDoes also cleaned up parts of the application that had become slow over time and connected a couple of processes where our team had previously needed to move information manually.
One of my main requirements was that this could not turn into a six-month disruption for the firm. Most of the work happened behind the scenes, and the updated parts were introduced gradually. Our staff continued using the application throughout the project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The difference was pretty obvious once the main updates went live. Opening and finding larger case files used to take around 20 seconds in some cases, and that is generally under 6 seconds now.
A document package that could take someone 20-25 minutes to prepare is now closer to 10-12 minutes because several repetitive steps have been removed. We also compared internal complaints and support requests related to the application, and those dropped by roughly 30% during the first month after the main release.
For a system our staff uses throughout the day, those small improvements add up quickly.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
I did not want our team spending a lot of time in development meetings, and that was not necessary. We had one regular point of contact at SoftDoes. They brought us in when they needed a decision, clarification, or someone to test a change, but otherwise they handled the work themselves.
That setup worked well for us because our staff could stay focused on their normal work while the modernization was happening in the background.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
SoftDoes was willing to work with what was already there. We spoke to other people who immediately started talking about replacing the entire application. SoftDoes spent time figuring out which parts were actually worth keeping and which parts needed serious work. From my perspective, that was a much more sensible use of our budget and our team’s time.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
I would have liked a little more documentation for our internal administrator when the first updates were released. We asked for it, and the documentation improved with the later releases, so it was not an ongoing issue.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
We had a process that worked well one-on-one, but it took quite a bit of my time to prepare everything for each person. Some of the information was collected through forms, some came from conversations, and then I had to put it all together manually. I discussed this with SoftDoes, and we decided to turn part of that process into a small web-based tool. The idea was to make the preparation easier while keeping the final decisions in my hands.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
SoftDoes developed a web tool that collects information through a structured questionnaire and helps me prepare an individual plan. The tool organizes the answers, applies the rules we agreed on, and creates a draft that I can review and adjust. I can save different versions, add my own notes, and export the final document. We spent quite a bit of time on the questionnaire itself. Some questions that seemed perfectly clear to me were confusing when other people tried them. SoftDoes helped us simplify the wording and change the order, which made the whole experience much easier. There is also a small admin area where I can update the questions and some of the content without asking a developer to make every change.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The biggest difference is the time we spend preparing each individual plan. Before, it could take us around 45 minutes to go through the answers, organize everything, and put the document together. Now the first draft is ready in about 10 minutes, and we can spend that time reviewing and personalizing it. We've also had fewer incomplete questionnaires since changing the structure. The completion rate went from roughly 65% to 82%, which means I don't have to follow up with people as often. Around 120 people have used the tool so far. It's still a relatively small number, but for my business, being able to handle that volume without adding more administrative work is a meaningful improvement.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
I was involved quite closely, especially when we were working on the questionnaire and the logic behind the recommendations. We had regular calls, but a lot of the feedback was just me testing the tool and sending screenshots with comments. I would sometimes change my mind after seeing how something worked, and SoftDoes was good at explaining what could be adjusted and what would affect the timeline. There were a few small changes during development. We agreed on the priorities, and the project was delivered within the revised schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I'm not a technical person, and I didn't always know how to describe what I wanted in software terms. I could show them how we normally prepare a plan, explain where we spent the most time, and they would come back with a working solution. I also appreciated that they didn't try to make the tool more complicated than it needed to be. They made a time-consuming part of our work much easier, and we can now handle more requests without having to spend more hours on the preparation.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
I think a little more time on the initial questionnaire would have helped. We discovered a few things during testing that could probably have been caught earlier. It wasn't a major issue, and SoftDoes made the changes without any problems.

Our technicians were still doing quite a bit of paperwork after finishing a job. We asked SoftDoes to build a mobile app that would let our team complete those steps while they were still on-site, even when the internet connection wasn't reliable.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
SoftDoes developed a mobile app for our field team and connected it to our existing scheduling and customer management system. Technicians can open their assigned jobs, review the service history, add notes and photos, complete a checklist, and collect a customer's signature. Once the job is finished, the information is sent back to the office. The offline functionality was important. Some of our service locations have poor reception, so the app needed to save everything locally and sync it once the connection came back. We spent a good amount of testing time on that part. They also built a small admin interface for managing checklist templates and reviewing submissions that need attention.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After the first two months of using the app, the average time spent completing a service report went from about 18 minutes to 7 minutes. We also reduced reports that needed corrections or missing information by approximately 32%. Around 85% of our field reports are now submitted before the technician leaves the service location, compared with roughly 40% before. Our office staff has noticed the difference too. They're spending less time calling technicians to ask for missing photos or details.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
We had regular check-ins, but most of the useful feedback came from our technicians testing the app in the field. They'd tell us things like, "This button is too small when I'm wearing gloves," or "I need to add a photo after I've already finished the checklist." We'd pass that along, and SoftDoes would make the changes in the next build. There were a few adjustments during testing, but the main release was delivered on schedule. Communication was good throughout.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were willing to test the app under the same conditions our technicians deal with. A feature can look fine on a laptop and still be awkward when someone is standing outside trying to finish a job. SoftDoes took that feedback seriously, and it made the final app much more practical.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
We probably should have involved more technicians in the first round of testing. A few usability changes came up later that we could have caught earlier. SoftDoes handled them well, though. I'd recommend SoftDoes. The app has made our technicians' day easier, and we're getting more complete information back to the office without all the extra follow-up.

SoftDoes developed a mobile app for a production company. The app was connected to the client's existing online store and featured a personalized recommendation system.
The app was live for a few months and saw a significant increase in repeat customers, purchase rates, and checkout completion rates. SoftDoes led an organized process and delivered the project within the agreed timeframe. The team was also responsive and attentive to detail.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
A lot of our customers were coming back, but the experience on mobile wasn't making that particularly easy. They had to search for products again, remember what they'd bought before, and go through the same steps each time. We had been discussing an app for a while. Eventually we decided to build one that would make repeat purchases quicker and give us a better way to stay in touch with customers who already knew us.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
SoftDoes developed the mobile app and connected it to our existing online store. Customers can browse products, save favorites, view previous orders, and reorder items without starting from scratch. We also added personalized recommendations based on browsing and purchase history, along with push notifications for order updates and selected offers. The checkout was an important part of the work. We went through several versions because small things, like how an address is saved or how quickly someone can change a quantity, make a difference on a phone. SoftDoes also built the backend connections needed to keep product information, stock availability, customer accounts, and orders synchronized with our existing systems
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The app has been live for a few months now, and repeat customers are using it more than we initially expected. The average time to complete a repeat purchase has gone from around 4 minutes on our previous mobile flow to just under 2 minutes in the app. Our repeat purchase rate among active app users is about 19% higher than it was for the same customer group before launch. We also saw the mobile checkout completion rate improve by approximately 14%. The app is still a relatively new channel for us, but it's already accounting for a meaningful share of returning customer orders.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
We had a shared project board and a call every week or two, depending on what was happening. The part I appreciated was that we could test things early. We'd get a build, try it on our own phones, and send back comments. Sometimes the feedback was very specific, like changing the order of two screens or making a button easier to reach. SoftDoes kept track of those details and didn't make us repeat the same requests. The launch happened within the agreed timeframe.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They understood that people don't spend much time thinking about how an app works. They just expect it to be easy. There were a few features we originally thought were important that became less of a priority once we started testing. SoftDoes helped us make those decisions without making the product feel unfinished.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
There is nothing important that I can mention here. I'd recommend SoftDoes to a company that wants to build a mobile product and needs a team that can handle both the technical work and the small details that affect how customers actually use it.

SoftDoes developed a web portal for a blogging school. The platform features a user-facing dashboard with access to learning materials, tasks, and a calendar. It also has an admin panel and payment integration.
SoftDoes' portal reduced the client's manual work by 80% and questions about access and materials by 40%. It also had an 80% user adoption rate in the first month. The team delivered on time, was easy to work with, and built a simple platform that met the client's needs.

BACKGROUND

I am the CEO of a blogging school.
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
This is a blogging school. We teach people how to become bloggers, start their own blogs, gain popularity, and increase their income.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
Once someone joined one of our programs, there was still a lot we handled manually. Access, materials, reminders and individual questions were spread across different places, and my team had to keep track of who had received what. It was manageable, but not very convenient. SoftDoes helped us turn that part of the experience into a simple web portal.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
SoftDoes built a private portal that people can access after registration. Users can see the materials available to them, upcoming tasks, important dates and previous activity in one account. We can also send updates there instead of relying on email for everything. On our side, there is a small admin area. My team can add or remove access, upload materials, update information and check basic user activity without asking a developer to do it. They also connected the portal with our existing website and payment flow, so access is created automatically after a successful purchase.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The clearest difference was in the amount of manual work after a purchase. Before the portal, my team was spending around 12-15 minutes per new registration setting everything up and sending information. Now it's usually 2-3 minutes, unless there's an unusual request. Questions about access and where to find materials have dropped by roughly 40%. We also had over 80% of active users log into the portal during the first month, which was a good sign for us because we didn't want to build something people would ignore.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Pretty easy from my side. I gave most of my feedback directly on the working version rather than writing long specifications. Sometimes it was literally a screenshot and a few sentences explaining what felt confusing. They were good at working that way. I didn't have to translate every idea into technical language, and I always knew what they needed from me. We launched on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I'm sure we could have added another 20 features, but we're a small company and wouldn't use half of them. SoftDoes was actually quite good at saying, "You probably don't need this yet." I appreciated that. The final product is simple, and that's one of the reasons people are using it.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
I can't remember nothing special. I would recommend SoftDoes. They were easy to work with, understood what made sense for a business our size, and delivered system we can manage without relying on a developer every time.

BACKGROUND

I am the Co-Founder of an education company
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
We are a distinctive platform featuring hundreds of teachers globally and its proprietary online education system.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
Matching students with teachers was taking more time than it should. There are quite a few things to consider: availability, level, schedule, preferences and sometimes very specific requests. Our team knew how to make those decisions, but a lot of it was still manual. We asked SoftDoes to automate part of that process inside our existing platform.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
SoftDoes worked with our existing platform: they developed a matching system that uses information we already have about students and teachers to suggest the best available options. Our team can review those suggestions and make the final choice when needed. They also worked on scheduling. The system checks availability before suggesting a match and can flag situations where someone's regular schedule is likely to become difficult to maintain. There were some smaller changes on the admin side as well. We can see why a particular match was suggested, change the priority of certain criteria and track cases that still need someone from our team to step in.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Before this project, a new match could take our team around 15 minutes when the request wasn't completely straightforward. It's now usually under 5 minutes. About 72% of new matches are currently completed using one of the system's first three recommendations, without our team having to search manually. We've also seen teacher changes during the first month of lessons decrease by approximately 18%. For me, that last number matters the most because a faster match isn't very useful if it isn't a good one.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
We tested this a lot. SoftDoes would release a version, our team would use it with real cases, and then we'd send back examples where the recommendation didn't make sense. Some weeks we had quite a few of those. They were never defensive about it. They looked at the examples, explained what was happening and adjusted the logic where necessary. The main work was completed on time, and we had regular communication throughout the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
SoftDoes's team didn't treat AI like it had to make every decision. Early on, they suggested keeping our team involved in cases where the system wasn't confident enough. That turned out to be the right approach. We automate most of the easy cases now, but our people still handle the unusual ones. They found a practical place for automation in our existing process, and we're saving time without giving up control over the decisions that still need a person.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
The first test version probably gave us too many recommendations at once. We simplified that after feedback from our team, and the current version is much easier to use.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire SoftDoes to accomplish?
One of the hardest parts of our day was dealing with schedule changes. A caregiver might become unavailable, a client could need an extra visit, or the hours for an existing case could change. The information itself wasn't complicated, but coordinating it across calls, messages, calendars, and separate records took far too much staff time. We hired SoftDoes to build an internal system that would give our coordinators a live view of client coverage and caregiver availability instead of constantly reconstructing the schedule manually.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The main deliverable was a browser-based operations system for our office team. The schedule is at the center of it. Coordinators can see upcoming visits, assigned caregivers, open shifts, availability conflicts, and changes that still need confirmation. If someone calls out, we can work from the open shift instead of checking several calendars to figure out who may be available. Each client also has an operational record with their recurring schedule, service requirements, assigned caregivers, contacts, important notes, and recent visit history. On the caregiver side, we can track availability, current assignments, completed visits, and documents that need attention. SoftDoes added alerts for things such as an uncovered shift or an upcoming document expiration so those issues don't depend on somebody remembering to check them. They also built a matching view that helps coordinators narrow down possible caregivers based on availability and the requirements of the client. The final assignment is still made by our team; the software just makes the information much easier to compare.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We looked specifically at schedule changes because that was where we felt the most friction before the project. For an ordinary same-day replacement, our coordinators used to spend around 25-30 minutes checking availability and contacting people. After the new workflow had been in use for a while, we were usually getting to the right group of available caregivers in about 10-15 minutes. We also saw roughly a 40% reduction in the internal calls and messages related purely to confirming who was assigned where. Another improvement was uncovered shifts. During the first two months after rollout, the number of cases that were still unresolved by the end of the previous business day was about 30% lower than during the comparable period before launch. Those are operational numbers, but they matter to us because less time spent chasing the schedule means more time speaking with clients and caregivers.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
A lot of our feedback happened while looking at an actual weekly schedule. We would pull up a situation from the previous few days and ask, essentially, “What would we have done here?” That exposed problems much faster than reviewing feature lists. There were several occasions where SoftDoes changed something that was technically working because our coordinators were taking too many clicks to complete a common action. They were very practical about that.
What was your primary form of communication with SoftDoes?

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They didn't try to automate every decision. Caregiver scheduling includes judgment. Two people can both be available and still not be equally appropriate for a particular client. SoftDoes understood that distinction. Instead of building a system that pretended to make the decision for us, they made the relevant information easier to see and left the final call with our coordinators. I appreciated that because it made the software fit the way home care actually works rather than forcing the team into a rigid workflow.
Are there any areas for improvement or something SoftDoes could have done differently?
The mobile experience for our office staff could have been addressed earlier. Desktop was our main priority, so that is where most of the early work went. Once we started using the system, we realized that coordinators also check schedules from their phones more often than we had expected. SoftDoes improved the responsive version later in the project, but I would put that higher on the priority list if we started again.

What Sets Us Apart
U.S.-Led, Senior-Level Teams
Every engagement is led by U.S.-based engineers and strategists, not account managers handing off to junior developers. You get experienced people who understand your business, communicate clearly, and take ownership of outcomes.
A Partner, Not a Vendor
We don't just build what's in the spec. We ask the hard questions, flag the risks, and stay invested in your results. Our clients come back because we treat their problems like our own.
Software You Own, Built for How You Work
No subscriptions, no platform lock-in. We build custom software, AI, and automation tailored to your operations, solutions you own outright and can scale on your terms, without being dependent on a vendor's roadmap.
Premier Verified means Clutch independently confirmed SoftDoes is a legally registered business, financially sound (Creditsafe: Low Risk), and backed by 38 verified client reviews averaging 5.0 stars.
