We had a series of zoom meetings to discuss the app in detail. Then we were assigned a project manager named Ayush, who helped us throughout the process. In addition, we were given a detailed project schedule that kept us up to date on the process and deadlines of each deliverable.

We were given one point of contact, our project manager Ayush who facilitated all meetings between his team and us. IT, graphic designers, web designers, etc. His system allowed communication to run smoothly and efficiently.

The app development process took way longer than expected because of our time zone difference. I suggest they hire people for different shifts to better meet the client's needs. Especially, since they are working with people internationally.

Konstant presents a great value for money for its services. The team is quick to respond to changes and demonstrates a good amount of agility. They are technically smart and delivered a good product at the end of the engagement.

The scoop was to deliver the project from idea to finished solution. I provided them with wireframes that I had already created se I had the whole concept very clear before briefing Konstant. Within the 10 to 12 months of working together, they sent me samples and graphics of the app so we collaborated on what needed to be improved until we got a finished product. They met my expectations in the end.

We were referred by a friend who had worked with Konstant Infosolutions in the past. After talking to the team at Konstant, we decided to go with them because of their prompt responses, their professional and clear communication, their team structure.

After the initial hand of to the development team, the team first started to work on Web APP and Wordpress. There were weekly updates and forecasts were provided by the project manager. All the feedbacks were worked on the following week. Whenever and wherever there was confusion, we jump on a call fairly quickly and pulled in developers whenever needed. The phone App development process was also in a similar aspect.

A project manager, two phone APP developers, one Web APP developer, and two WordPress developers. All the team members were well connected with each other, which left minimal room for communication gaps.

Our goal was to complete the development and launch, which we were able to do perfectly. After launch, everyone loved our WordPress marketing website. We are still in our very initial phase of launch. Nonetheless, all the support during launch and afterward was nothing less than perfect.

Our project manager provided us with weekly updates and forecasts. Whenever there was a delay, we were notified promptly. And whenever there were questions, we jumped on calls right away and pulled in developers, if needed. We used Skype, zoom, google docs as well as screen/voice recordings.

Clear and organized communication. Great collaboration between team members. Prompt responses. Always available to tackle any issue at hand.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were short on resources on the APP development side and so it pushed the completion date a bit. But we were informed about it from early on and our project manager kept us up to date on the process of APP development and reassured us that they were trying their best to complete the project.

Communication was handled primarily through email with occasional calls set up via Zoom. Time zone difference could be tricky at times, but Konstant was very open to accommodating timing on the part of Pencils of Promise.

Communication was great and there was a great deal of openness to feedback and collaboration. The end product was unique and Konstant delivered.

Our goal was to have 4,000 downloads within 30 days of the mobile app launching. We hit our goal within 4 days. It has been a huge success for our company and consumers as well. Due to our success we have been able to expand further and hired Konstant for our next project to build a formal website.

Konstant provides a timeline for the project. The timeline stayed on track and they were great at explain where we were, what we were working and how long it was expected to take. For communication we used email, Zoom and Whatsapp.

I had a vision but their vision was better. When they provided the design plans we couldn't believe that it was included in our scope.

We are OneReceipt. We are aiming to deliver digital receipts to consumers all over the UK. This will be available via an app which the user will use to obtain and store their digital receipt that they collect. My role in this company is Co-director.

We were in the process of developing our MVP and we reached out to Konstant to assist us with our Proof of Concept.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did a lot of research into reputable companies that had done similar work to ourselves, the main factor in choosing Konstant was their price and experience.

We were aiming to integrate with the POS systems Good Till and NCR. Using that we aimed to withdraw the receipt information and push to a dashboard that was also created by Konstant. In terms of the technologies used, a number of API's were uncovered and executed by Konstant and this allowed for our vision to come into fruition.

Konstant took us through several development stages which included a discovery phase for the capabilities of the APIs from GoodTill and NCR. Then a scope of work was drawn up which included coding and development of the OneReceipt dashboard. The finished product was excellent.

There were 3-5 people working with us at the time. Ayush, Yogesh and a number of others. They were part of the development team.

In terms of general feedback Konstant were excellent, Ayush took his time to explain concepts and development milestones to us and it was very helpful. Overall, they delivered exactly what we asked for and did their best to help us understand difficult concepts.

Communication happened mostly via Skype calls and emails. This was the best way to communicate due to Covid-19 lockdowns and the fact that we were based in the UK and Konstant are based in India.

The independent work they do to help us get a grasp on difficult concepts.

More communication regarding issues they were having with our development. More detail regarding what they were doing day to day.

I’m the owner and founder of an online platform that connects student musicians to colleges and vice versa. This platform is like a musical version of LinkedIn, destined for students and college directors in the musical field.

What challenge were you trying to address with Konstant Infosolutions?

I was trying to find a company that could build my platform. I can build websites based on templates, but I didn’t know how to build a progressive web application that was functional both on desktop and mobile devices. I hired Konstant Infosolutions to help me with this project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, I emailed a sales representative lady from Konstant, who was my first point of contact. I spoke to her and laid out the whole project, and she walked me through the process and helped me understand their involvement.

After we finished the introductions and I signed the contract, I worked with a business analyst person. He acted as the middleman between the project manager and me, and he took my notes and helped me tweak my ideas.

Now, Konstant is developing my web and mobile app, and I have Zoom calls with the project manager and the business analyst when needed.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started talking to Konstant in March 2020 and signed the official contract in May 2020. I launched the platform on April 2021, and we've gotten feedback from my customers. As this is a new idea in my niche, people have different requirements, so we’re still working together, going through a couple of changes, and making a few tweaks as I’m learning new things.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Konstant was able to expand the fundamental concepts and principles of my business and create a platform that is easy to understand and digest for the consumer — that has been really helpful.

Their understanding of graphics is great, and the layouts were very nicely done. Additionally, I liked how they incorporated my style into the platform. I had a Wix template on my main page, and Konstant studied it, adapted it, and was able to implement it. That was a very nice touch, and I appreciated it.

How did Konstant Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

I really like Konstant’s collaboration on ideas. After going through a couple of calls and emails, they understood the project and tried to give me ideas to add to it and make it easier to understand for both sides of my target audience, which was very refreshing.

In terms of communication, we use Skype and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Konstant’s collaborative process and understanding are great. They also understood the challenges in terms of budget. Last year, I wasn’t able to work for many months because of COVID-19. I was upfront about that, and they gave me discounts and better costs on different parts of the project.

This made me feel that they really cared about it, which has been really refreshing. Their understanding blows my mind — they’re really helpful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Working with Konstant, I’ve faced a couple of issues that could be improved. First, their customer service is different compared to here in the U.S. If there is a mistake, which is understandable on occasion, there is a lot of back and forth that could be avoided to begin with. 

At times, their attention to detail could be improved by thoroughly reviewing emails and/or files, notes, etc. 

Finally, we’ve had a couple of issues with the timeliness of meetings but they improved over time.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure that you fully think through your idea. As this is my first time doing a project like this, there have been some things that I initially didn’t know. Thus, I’ve had to request a lot of changes on things that I thought would be included.

Additionally, make sure that you get a project manager involved. Initially, the business analyst was my main point of contact, and some of my requirements got lost or misunderstood when he communicated them to the project manager. Since the project manager has been on the calls, they’ve understood my requirements better, and it all has been smooth sailing.

After meeting face to face with all the candidates, given the preplan that I was shown from Konstant, the questions asked of the project in hand, and the clarity of the discussion were the deciding factors to make my choice.

Then it comes to the designs and the wireframes to make to give a blueprint as a clear vision of how the app will look like and the links between each feature. Where Konstant takes all that was discussed in pen and paper and agreed upon and transform it into an app. Of which we test together and approve of the work done. The technology used was native IOS and Android applications with a marketing website

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The outcomes of the project are very good and promising. Within a month of moving the app live on both apple and google stores and a week from starting the marketing campaign we have seen each day increasing number of app downloads and we believe its going to be a very successful product. All the delivered features work perfectly fine, and in case of any issues the support team is always ready and prompt in looking at it.

Communication due to corona situation has limited our talks and discussions to online meetings after we managed to be able to meet face to face in some occasions before the virus. We have daily discussions on numerous ongoing add ons and improvements on app feautres. These are mainly through skype and zoom meetings. where we share our screens. The timelines are accurate, before the start of work the cost and the time needed for each step is calculated and presented and we abide by the schedule and work accordingly so that each party can plan their works.

The most unique feature about this company is the challenge they accept with every new idea brought to the table. In which they never have a no as an answer to every new feature or idea we have. It is why I have been able to share openly everything with them and after some time see it in my phone in a form of an app. Their knowledge and expertise in development is very special in comparison with the experiences I have before in app development

I believe they did everything as should be done. Given the struggle of the virus, the long distance communication, the struggles that both sides were facing, we both managed to have very good results. from what I've seen till now its near to perfection.
