Designveloper was responsible for the end-to-end development of the spending analytics module. This included:

• Integrating with our existing transaction database
• Designing a machine learning-based categorization system
• Creating an intuitive dashboard with charts and breakdowns by category, merchant, and time
• Enabling goal setting and monthly spend summaries
• Testing, documentation, and deployment to both iOS and Android platforms

Key deliverables included the backend API for data analysis, a UI component library for the new dashboard, and a fully tested production-ready version of the feature integrated into our mobile app.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After launch, we saw a increase in weekly active users engaging with the personal finance tab. Customer feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the clarity and visuals.

Designveloper followed a structured Agile methodology. Sprints were well-managed, with weekly check-ins and demo sessions. Deliverables were mostly on time, and when unexpected challenges arose (ex: data inconsistency), they communicated openly and provided solid workarounds. Their responsiveness was excellent, they often anticipated needs before we formally raised them.

Their blend of technical strength and UX sensitivity was impressive. They really understood that in fintech, features are only valuable if they're both accurate and easy to use. Their proactive approach in suggesting improvements like implementing a “spending alert” function we hadn't planned for showed real ownership and understanding of the user journey.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Designveloper could have done differently?

While the collaboration was very effective overall, we believe more in-depth documentation during the model training and testing phase would have helped our in-house data team pick up the work faster. That said, they were very cooperative when we requested further clarification post-launch.

We built some functionalities and got continual input from consumers while tracking acceptance testing. Developer team delivered exactly what we have asked so far and handle all expectation well.

We started creating a reactive web app in the first five weeks of the project and are confident. The revenue increased 20% after two months then we had more positive feedbacks from clients.

Everything went very smoothly thanks to the best communication through project management tools: Jira and Trello. We also got the feeling that our goals are shared and that we're all working towards a common objective.
