It’s unusual that I have to remind them about tasks — they take the initiative and bring up ideas. Additionally, Yalantis has helped create the next version of our project management. I’m very impressed, as they’ve done an excellent job managing the relationship, considering that we’re in a dynamic environment as a startup. Fortunately, my lead developer and I are very happy with the backend developer. He respects deadlines and provides quality code. Aside from being open to criticism, he often comes up with proactive suggestions. This is the case with the two frontend developers as well. Initially, we had an interview for the backend developer, but we don’t do this anymore. Since I trust Yalantis, I would usually go with the resources they offer. They’re close to Europe, so their work ethic and approach are similar to ours. We work through two-week iterations with the Ruby on Rails developer.
