Convverge’s ability to make a conference call feel collaborative was very refreshing. Even if they had a specific development for discussion or an agenda, they still ran the meeting in a way that allowed for constructive discussion. Their project management resources were really good at reading the customer and knowing when to listen and when to suggest things. Obviously, they build customized software for industries they don’t operate in, so there’s a lot they don’t’ know about any one industry. They do know when to stop talking and listen, however, and when to direct the conversation in a certain way. It made for a very collaborative experience that I don’t see on a lot of conference calls.
