With Review Enrichment, providers supply the objective project details. Clients confirm them, add their rating and feedback, and submit.
Imagine you’ve just wrapped up an eight-month project with a major tech company. They’re thrilled with the results and want to continue working with you on a retainer.
This is exactly the kind of client you’d want leaving a review on Clutch.
The challenge? Even happy clients have packed schedules. Between their professional responsibilities and personal lives, finding the time to write a review can be a big ask.
That’s why Clutch is introducing Review Enrichment, a new way for Clutch Verified providers to collect reviews. Providers can add project details and then invite the client to review, edit, and rate the project. After the client approves it, providers submit it to Clutch for a final review. Once we’ve confirmed it meets the Review Enrichment qualifications, the project is published on the provider’s Clutch profile.
Collecting client reviews? Enrich your next one.
For many clients, the hardest part of writing a review is knowing where to start. Recalling a project’s scope, budget, timeline, and results can be difficult, and clients may not have the details at hand.
Even clients with a great experience may not remember every detail or know which ones will help future buyers choose the right partner. Details, such as the specific tools and technologies used, can be especially easy to overlook, even though they may be exactly what another buyer wants to know.
By providing objective data for clients to confirm, service providers make the review process easier for clients and give future buyers a more complete picture of the work they’ve done.
Add a project: Upload documentation from a completed project or enter the details by hand.
Clutch fills in the objective project details: Business goals, scope, results, cost, and timeline.
Review the details and send the invitation: It arrives as “[Your firm] via Clutch,” and Clutch handles the reminders.
Your client confirms the project: They can correct any details and add their rating and honest feedback.
Review Enrichment makes it much easier for clients to leave detailed reviews. You’re able to provide information like the project scope, timeline, and other specifics, so clients don’t have to recall and type everything.
This cuts the time clients spend on a review to about 5 minutes, compared to the average 30 minutes it takes to type, rate, and submit a standard review. The less time it takes for them to leave the review, the more likely they are to finish it.
The information also gives buyers more context, such as the tools used, the size of the team involved, and what it was like to work with them, making it easier to determine if the provider is the right fit.
The additional detail you provide can also help AI tools surface the right provider for future buyers. A review that names the language, platform, or technology used gives AI more to work with than a rating alone. For example, if a buyer asks for a Shopify Plus agency, a review that mentions Shopify Plus, along with the project’s scope and timeline, can help show that the provider has relevant experience
Review Enrichment changes how a review starts, not how it’s verified. Buyers rely on Clutch reviews to make confident hiring decisions, so the standards behind every review stay exactly the same.
Review Enrichment is available to all Clutch Verified providers and makes it easier to collect more reviews. Start with the client you’ve been meaning to ask for a review. Gather project documentation, such as a statement of work, contract, invoice, or case study, or enter the details yourself. Then all your client has to do is confirm the project and share their experience for the review to go live.
