I hired WideGroup to create and manage my website

What were your goals for this project?

To get a functioning website without errors that is robust and easy to upgrade.

How did you select this vendor?

They claimed their team members were expert internet developers and that I'd be taken care of and I'd get a website to my expectations that is functional. They promised that I'd have a team of devs to support me if anything went wrong. Sadly, I believed them.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

I used this service for 2 years. Lis70 created a website and then "managed" it during that time. However, during creation, lis7o made an error with my website where I was unable to add new products without horrendous errors. Over the 2 years that I was in contract with them, they were unable to fix the problem. Every month they would try and fail.

I had NUMEROUS other issues with their management as well. The website constantly broke down and before the contract ended, lis7o allowed my plugins to expire and REFUSED to fix it. Crazily enough, lis7o then continued to bill me 3 months after my contract ended despite numerous emails requesting they remove their fraudulent charges.

I had to resort to my Credit Card company to get my money back. After spending over $11,000 with lis7o, I had to get a new website created because the one they gave me was in complete shambles. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 

What was the team composition?

Alexis was the point of contact and he delegated tasks to his team. Unfortunately, pretty much everything I had him do backfired and they refused to fix their errors while still billing me.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Extremely negative. I lost thousands of dollars of sales, their team fraudulently billed me after the contract was up and ensured that my website was broken beyond repair when told them I did not want to renew their contract.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was terrible. Alexis was the liaison and even though I emailed him constantly, my website never got fixed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It was impressive how they were able to lie the whole time while keeping a straight face and claim that they were doing their job. I was impressed with their lack of capabilities and how terribly I was treated as a customer that spent $11,000 with them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Tons. This company feels like a sham and so every aspect needs to be improved.
