Key Product Hypotheses Verified: We verified fundamental hypotheses regarding our value proposition and user requirements through systematic user research, which included surveys, interviews, and persona creation.

Utilising UI Designs to Get Genuine Input: Due to time constraints, we had to use high-fidelity UI designs as functioning stand-ins even though our original objective was to provide distinct clickable UX prototypes. These designs were crucial in helping customers visualize the product and in obtaining insightful feedback that helped us refine our MVP feature set.

Completed MVP Design, Prepared for Release: We are currently implementing the MVP using the full set of UI layouts and developer-ready style guide that were produced at the end of the engagement.

Brand Identity That Made the Concept Feel Real: The branding work, including the logo, app icon, color palette, and visual identity, brought polish and personality to the product at early stages when we didn't have much more to share beyond the idea. It helped frame our idea as a credible, tangible solution in conversations with early users and stakeholders.

Vrrb showed excellent project management for the entire project. They communicated regularly, kept everything transparent and organized with platforms like Slack and ActiveCollab, and were always on top of milestones. They not only met deadlines, but they also actively helped us stay on course by anticipating possible roadblocks, responding to criticism, and ensuring that we kept up our momentum across various sprints. They also contested a few pivots I made along the way, not because they opposed them, but rather because they had a partner's mindset. To make sure that adjustments were well-thought-out and in line with the larger objectives, they carefully pushed back, even though they knew I had previously approved an extension of the project.

The most notable aspect of Vrrb was their capacity to function as genuine thought partners as opposed to merely a design supplier. They continuously engaged with our vision, questioned ideas when necessary, and shared a genuine feeling of ownership over the final result, a unique combination of creative strength, methodical thinking, and product intuition.

Without losing focus on quality or momentum, their team adjusted to our collaborative, fast-paced environment. They seemed to sincerely care as much about our MVP's success as we did.

Overall, we are satisfied. However, I did provide some criticism regarding the dependence on Figma as the main platform for collaboration. It was not the best option for product documentation or user research findings, even though it worked well for design-specific work.

We established our own Notion workspace as the source of truth for definitions and non-design context in order to close that gap. Using a shared tool like Notion from the beginning of future projects could facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration and alignment.
