They worked on a app prototype to understand the workflow. The team started working on the development stage just after finishing the prototype. They scheduled weekly calls with our team to share completed tasks and asked for feedback.

In some cases, they also show a demo to our team on how the app works and perform all features in real-time to identify the issues and solve them. Deliverables for our platform will be Android and iOS apps, a website, a web-based admin panel, and all design files and codes.

Project management is mostly through Teamwork and is prompt and to the point. I find the Teamwork platform a bit disjointed and non-intuitive, but they still make it work.

We develop a timeframe after a series of discovery calls with an aggressive delivery date. After this we broke down the project into sprints and formulated a plan to develop the UI with designers while developers were creating a dual platform app that works on tablets as well. React, and firebase were all used effectively, efficiently, and creatively.

The project manager and team were all very easy to communicate with. We utilized slack for the majority of communications and held weekly stand ups to make sure everything was on track. On top of that, we held monthly meetings with management team to make sure goals remained aligned, and we had daily updates from each team member letting us on their progress, blocks, and updates. Very, very open communication lines and responsiveness.

We set out with a goal in mind of creating an app that was very familiar to everyone and would be intuitive, and they went above and beyond in developing our platform.

We have been impressed with the growth we’ve realised and sustained working with the Shawn team. We have seen increases in organic rankings and traffic, and are excited to see it grow even more in the next year.
