For what projects/services did your company hire SoftPort, and what were your goals?

We had capacity issues that were leading us to decline projects from clients. Therefore we hired SoftPort as our Outsourcing partner to develop the below for us. Customized Software Websites Mobile Applications Graphic Design Outsource

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The Vendor selection was done through an RFP process and the criteria were Quality, Technical Capabilities, Developer Attrition Rate, Cost etc.

Scope of work for SoftPort is 2 pronged,

1. Fixed Rate Projects - when we have projects with defined scope of work from our clients.
2. Outsourcing - We outsource developers as and when required.

Technologies used are varied such as PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Angular JS, Opern Cart, Wordpress, WooCommerce, Python, Javascript, Native Android, Swift, mysql, flutter Etc.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Teams depend on the projects, we have had project where team sizes were from 2 to 14 with different roles from Project Manager to junior developers and Quality assurance.

All expectations were met in the last 5 years

SoftPort uses emails, Microsoft Teams, and planner etc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Generally the level of Management in Indian companies is not on par with standards. However SoftPort is controlled by UK based professionals who have really created a process driven company that has grown rapidly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While there is always room for improvement Softport is an excellent company that always delivers as promised. But it has been a bit resistant on changing developers mid project.
