Pixel Values Technolabs primarily took the time to learn more about my business needs and overall goals for the mobile application. I ultimately started working with a project manager (Nimish Gupta), and we broke the work into sprints and moved forward. The mobile application combines traditional elements of a personal fitness coaching mobile app with a food database, video content, and a personal progress tracking portion. Pixel Values develop the app for Android and iOS and included gamification features to send alerts for different achievements.

The project manager was my single point of contact, but there were 6–7 developers working on the project, as well.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The application are complete but have yet to be launched as we adjust some things within the iOS application to account for recent changes to Apple’s standards. Once we complete that work, I’m hopeful that we can introduce the apps in the coming weeks.

They were very open in their communication. Pixel Values had a good understanding of the scope and getting the application to function as I wanted. There were times when they went in a particular direction that wasn’t quite what I was considering, but they were flexible and willing to readjust to my preferences. We mostly communicated through email or Skype and our weekly progress call.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What really shifted me on Pixel Values was their honesty. While interviewing other vendors, I found that they were more interested in telling me what they thought I wanted to hear. Pixel Values told me the truth. Their team was willing to admit what parts of our idea couldn’t be done and we respected that. We were fortunate that almost everything we wanted to accomplish could be done. I didn’t want to hire a company that would tell me something could be done and then find out several thousand dollars down the line that it couldn’t.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It’s main to say what’s on your mind. If there’s something you don’t understand, ask questions, particularly if it’s a serious concern. There is a part where you’re going to have to trust in what they say, especially if you don’t know much about the software. The Pixel Values team will be frank and honest with you, even if it’s not what you would like to hear, so it’s important to do the same.

After a few iterations, their team designed and developed the new Ecommerce Website and Mobile App, incorporating a very great features like Payment Gateway and Live Tracking, eye-catching UI etc..

When we got the project from our client they are a bit confused but when pixel values started the process and delivering the sprint my client was very happy and after complete work was done they are happier with our deliverables.

First of all, they started working with agile methodologies and they provide us the sprint plan for the whole project, we have a weekly meeting every Friday for the progress and query, and for the code management, they use the GIT.

Although we are in the same industry, they allow us to execute the project smoothly and they do it in the same way we would. I think this is what is unique about Pixel Values.

Not for now but I will definitely do inform them if I find them in the next project.

They mainly stand out for three reasons. First, their portfolio is impressive; they have a strong portfolio with multiple unique works. Also, their tech team is full of strong senior developers, which is difficult to find. Thirdly, the CEO (Mr. Tauseef A.) has a lot of experience building consumer tech startups. We communicate most by e-mail and Skype, but if I have any problem that needs the most possible solution, they are always available on Whatsapp! For each task set by us, they answered me during the day when I was given information about how long it will take them to make the correction. I gave Pixel Values Technolabs templates, drawings, and what functionalities I wanted. Their team developed the app for iOS and Android. The application pulls from a hockey database. We’ve linked player profiles from that database and helped players gain the ability to gain access to those pages and their own personal pages.

It was complex in the sense that we’re pulling an API from other sites and integrating their information with ours to add it to different profiles.

I think we work with about six or seven different people with various specialties. We have an overall project manager Mr. Nimish that oversees everything. Below him, there is a coordinator that manages everything Miss Monica, and I’m in constant contact with her.

Some app developers work with the UX/UI and backend, but I don’t have a lot of contact with them.

While the app was released at the end of January, I’m still trying to generate the user base and figuring out what aspects of the app are working. Right now, I’m in a phase with Pixel Values Technolabs where we’re collecting user insights and having progress updates and meetings. While we’re still gathering data, all feedback has been positive. The app has 1000 players and over 2,500 unique users. A lot of people are leaving reviews. It is helping users find information about different players and personnel.

Their project management style was excellent. Pixel Values Technolabs is detail-oriented. Their team meets targets and is always in contact with me about anything they need or questions they have. Working with Pixel Values Technolabs has been a transparent process. I’ve been fascinated with everything that goes on behind the scenes like the status meetings that I’ve been part of.

Their transparency is inspiring. I appreciate their on-time delivery. They always ask questions to make sure they’re not going down the wrong path. Saying that, I haven’t worked with another app development company, but I’d recommend using Pixel Values Technolabs because they’re easy to work with. Their team delivers detailed work with everything their clients’ request.

I was put in touch with them and spoke with their Co-Founder & Director (BD) Tauseef Anwar, who referred me to a few of their clients. They all provided great, in-depth, positive reviews. After those discussions, it was really clear that they were approachable and easy to talk to, so I decided to go with them.

We knew exactly what we needed and they delivered accordingly. The impact was huge.

We have daily calls for at least 10–15 minutes, as well as weekly meetings. They’re very well organized. They’ve been great, especially given the time difference. We’ve been able to effectively communicate through various challenges, like design and feedback. It’s been great to get to know Pixel Values Technolabs. They’re easy to work with. If a deadline was going to be missed, they were transparent and learned from it. The project manager was great.

I’ve been lucky enough to have some experience with their CEO, who’s been really hands-on when I’ve had questions. He’s been really giving and generous in terms of supporting our mission and marketing. He goes above and beyond what they do, putting us in touch with other contacts and references to make this product a success. The other big thing is their design skills. As a manager myself, I’m very picky about my designs and how they look and feel. They were responsive in figuring out not only the best solution but how to accommodate our needs.

Everything that needed potential improvement, we’ve talked through. At this point, there’s nothing.
