While I appreciate of course the quality of the work, it is the way of working as described before is what really sets this collaboration apart from other providers I have experienced in the past.

Sometimes (not so recently), I felt that the designers working on materials (like posters or flyers) focused only on the appearance and not on the content; while I don't expect them to be experts in our subject matter, they should see when there is a significant error in language (e.g., a part of a sentence gone missing).

Minthical led the design of our 2024 annual implementation report, a 100+ page technical document with around 400 references. They delivered both print and web versions, building on the visual identity established in our 2023 report while introducing new design elements to reflect evolving content. In addition to the main report, Minthical also designed a complex Scorecard infographic and a social media communications package to support the launch. The team worked closely with us through multiple rounds of feedback to ensure a high quality final product that was visually compelling, accessible, and aligned with our key messages.

Final report was completed on time and ready to send to the printer ahead of international travel for the launch.

Based on a short description of the proposed event, to come up with a visual package that could be applied to all of the marketing collateral, both print and electronic. The brief was to translate the idea of equitable access to diagnostics into images that could cover a broad spectrum of materials. Given that the organization has gone through a transformation during the last 12 months, it was important to give the concept of diagnostics a fresh, forward-looking “vibe”. Minthical proposed several different designs that would have led in different directions. We ended up selecting one which was quite different to previous work done for us, providing fresh inspiration.

This was our third year working with Minthical to produce our Annual Report and we were once again extremely happy with the quality of their work. The work was to provide a start-to-finish graphic design of the Medicines Patent Pool's (MPP) 2023 annual report. This involved Minthical presenting five initital, draft designs from which we selected and 'merged' two. Once the text-only version of the report was shared with them, Minthical then produced a draft version of the full report, followed by several rounds of amendments. 
The final version was a highly engaging and attractive soft collage or mosaic effect, which perfectly reflected the message that MPP needed to get across - that of an organisation sitting at the centre of a major global health issue, relying on and being relied upon an array of partners. Several new infographics were also produced by Minthical for the report, which are now being deployed as collateral elsewhere.

What challenge were you trying to address with Minthical?

Albini Prassa wanted to have a microsite for a specific project, key image production, advertisement, and help in creating the book layout for the limited edition watch “Sageata Orientului” by Tissot.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Minthical provided a key visual based on Albini Prassa’s brief and creative idea. The team embraced the project and created a series of ads with the same 1930s identity. They also created a whole animated film, text, music, and voiceover, which resulted in the microsite.

Then, they worked on the book that had to be ready in time for the launch and created the layout based on the material that Albini Prassa submitted.

Albini Prassa found Minthical through an online search and LinkedIn. The team was based in Switzerland, where Albini Prassa also had offices, and Romania. They had a Swiss qualitative approach but with Romanian creativity, flexibility, and competitive prices.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from September 2020–October 2020. The limited edition was launched in fall 2020, and it was still running at the time of the interview.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Minthical delivered everything on time, and the team was flexible to adapt resources accordingly. The launch of the limited edition watch was very successful, with great sales and visibility. This was a unique project that still drew attention and accolades.
