HyperHired was engaged to recruit an experienced estimator for our pavement maintenance company. Their scope of work included sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and assisting throughout the hiring process. The expected deliverables included qualified candidates that matched our requirements, proactive communication regarding candidate status and next steps, interview scheduling, and ongoing support to facilitate a successful hire.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

No measurable business outcomes were achieved. We ultimately canceled the engagement before a successful hire was made due to concerns regarding communication, candidate alignment, scheduling, and overall execution. This was our second engagement with HyperHired, and we entered with high expectations based on our previous experience. Unfortunately, this engagement fell well short of expectations in terms of communication, candidate alignment, follow-up, and overall execution.

Project management and communication were inconsistent throughout the engagement. We frequently had to reach out for updates, and there was limited proactive follow-up regarding candidate fit, interview feedback, and next steps. Scheduling became disorganized at times, including interviews being scheduled differently than discussed. Overall, the process did not meet our expectations for communication, organization, or responsiveness.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their sales and marketing efforts were impressive. Unfortunately, the execution and communication throughout our engagement did not match the expectations established at the outset.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Hyper Hired could have done differently?

Since this was our second engagement with HyperHired, we came into the relationship with high expectations and had previously recommended them to others. Unfortunately, our experience this time was marked by communication issues, inconsistent follow-up, scheduling problems, and misalignment on candidate requirements. We raised concerns throughout the process but ultimately lost confidence in the engagement and elected to cancel. We believe HyperHired could improve by being more proactive, maintaining better communication, and taking a more collaborative approach when customers raise concerns or seek resolution. We had previously referred others and entered this engagement as a returning client. Based on our experience with this engagement, we would not currently recommend the service.
