VoiceScript is the industry leader in innovative Software as a Service solutions for court reporting service providers. I am the Co-Founder and COO.

For what projects/services did your company hire GrowMore Recruitment, and what were your goals?

Our company needed to quickly find highly specialized Speech Scientists with expertise in voice and automated speech recognition engines.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We considered a number of options for our talent acquisition strategy, ranging from in house recruitment to outsourced development shops. GrowMore came in as word of mouth recommendation from a trusted source, highlighting their deep networks into qualified individuals and professional approach to IT recruitment.

We discussed project details with GrowMore Recruitment staffing agent, communicated our requirements and explained our expectations. They found suitable candidates, sent us candidate profiles. We reviewed the profiles and scheduled interviews with chosen candidates. After the interview stage we hired 7 best candidates that specialize in different programming languages such as Node.js, React, C++ etc.

We engaged with 3 of their core team members, who gave us very professional, timely and easy to follow steps to follow.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The recruitment team exceeded our expectations in both the time to placement as well as the overall quality of the candidates, with price points significantly below what others were quoting. We were able to put together this core team of developers over a month faster than we were expecting resulting in delivering product to clients faster than planned giving our growth an additional boost.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Even though the team worked remotely, we were communicating via Slack mainly and developers reacted very quickly. They were very responsive and fast at implementing changes to the software.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They provided the highest quality candidates in the shortest period of time. Even though they worked remotely, they dived into our culture, understood the core requirements and found the best developers to fit our team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some communication issues due to the Time Zone difference that initially slowed down the interview scheduling process, but the GrowMore Recruitment team was fast to adjust, even switching their working hours to better overlap with our US based team and provided really quality candidates much faster than we could have hoped for.
