We communicated 100% through email and the project took less than 30 days. The team provided a Wordpress site with Divi themes, and took care of all the back-end set-up. They provided step-by-step instructions , video tutorials and made the process extremely easy!

One of their representatives contacted a group of mine via social media. After an informative discussion, I decided to request for their help with developing a website for the consultancy. The goal is to have a platform through which we can spread the message about our aims and services.

The FWG team was quick in responding to my questions and offered a great deal.

After the introduction, they provided me with a guideline and video which explains the web development process. I bought a domain, selected a website template, and provided them with a list of changes to be made to the template. Then, they begin building the website. They used wordpress and a number of tools to build the website.

There could have been more but my guess would be two people. My main contact point throughout the web development process was Sven, the Lead Developer. After the first submission, I needed a couple of minor revisions to be done and he said that one of his developers will handle the minor changes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment. The website template has been delivered but the website has not been launched.

The team made sure that the project would progress smoothly by planning ahead and maintaining active communication. Having one contact person throughout the project simplifies the communication process. Aside from the initial contact via social media, the rest of the communication was done via email.

They put a lot of effort into planning every step ahead in order to avoid potential problems.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing significant. They have done a great job.

Our website was previously made using services like Squarespace but I wasn't happy with the polish and professionalism of how the site looked. The Free Website Guys' work looked very professional.

Their quality of work on their website looked great and the fact it was free only sweetened the deal

We communicated strictly over email where Sven sent very clear instructions on what was needed on my end. Through a series of a dozen or so emails we switched website hosts, chose the theme and customized it to our branding/colour schemes. In the end a very detailed handover package was sent to me with how to further customize the website and navigate Wordpress.

Sven was my main point of contact. He was very punctual, detail oriented and great at following up if I missed one of his emails.

Very thorough documentation and handover guide. The new website looks much cleaner and professional.

I needed to create my website; I had a domain, but I didn’t know how to start it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Free Website Guys asked me what kind of website I wanted and built it using WordPress. I’m not very familiar with web pages, but I was also involved in creating my site.

It is a straightforward website because I’m just starting — it will be like a blog for the time being. I need to work on it a little bit still, but it looks good. It is mainly a blog where I have some text and pictures.

I’m dealing with one person.

A friend recommended them; they did an outstanding job on her website, and I reached out to them to see if they could help me create mine.

It was just the fee for transferring the website from one site to another.

I think it’s a big success. The Free Website Guys did everything that was going to take me ages to do. They’re doing fast and excellent work for me, and I’m pleased.

Have an accurate idea of how you want the website to look. I wasn’t entirely sure, and I chose some of the available templates. If someone has a good idea, they can give some more information, and I’m sure that these guys can help.

They were amazing, fast, easy to work with, explained everything in detail, and were super responsive. They were so patient, helpful, and efficient every step of the way. They explained everything, sent me videos showing me exactly how everything worked and what to do, and helped me quickly troubleshoot issues that came up in the process. I'd use them again and again and again!

We didn't have a website and wanted to move our services online to add credibility to our services as well as expand our market. We wanted to make it easier for potential clients to view our products and evaluate the options available to them.

By chance, we came across a post from the Free Website Guys and were delighted to contact them. As a new start-up (and a new family with young children), we find ourselves faced with numerous expenses and had been putting off creating a website due to the costs, as well as the uncertainty of "how to do it".

We were really pleased with final product, as produced by the FWGs. We can't wait to go live with the site.

We were in regular email contact with Sven who would drop in periodically if we fell behind in our decision making process. Who would have guessed that so much went in to creating a website? I had no idea how many decisions we'd be aking, and that was with their help and patient guidance.

The FWGs provided us with an incredible site that we will be able to work on and fine-tune over time. When you work in a rapidly changing industry - that's super important. They were supportive and patient and went out of their way to find solutions for us.

I had a friend recommend them to me. When I did some investigation I saw that they were incredible. Upon working with them, they could not have been more professional and patient.

I know that a website is the key to a successful business. FWG guided me in every step so I could choose the website most appropriate for my business. They guided me to Elegant Themes to choose a template, Blue Host for hosting and WordPress for design.

A project manager was my main point of progress throughout the process. Because this was a smaller project, he was my only contact although I'm sure there were others working behind the scene.

I let them know that it would be a while before I launched the site, so as yet nothing to report there. I can say that they edited the template exactly as I had asked them through my screencastify account.

The project manager was straightforward, patient and always let me know how long the next step would take and when to look out for his next contact. It never took longer than expected, in fact it usually took way shorter than expected.

They guided me through every bit of the process with videos and tutorials, and what programs were best to use for different parts of the construction of the website. (ie Screencastify to create a video to send to them to explain how I wanted them to edit my selected template).

They were great.

This was a personal project for me that has nothing to do with the company I work for. My intention is to build my personal & professional brand outside of just Linkedin and Free Website Guys helped me build out that theme so that I can now customize the content within the site.

How did you select this vendor?

I was referred by a friend after already working on this project for a month or so--and I'm extremely happy to have worked with them. The end result will be a premium website and cost me very little in the way of time and money.

They provided me options to select a premium theme, and then went ahead and set everything up in the background for me. I was required to follow some instruction to get them specific login information, tell them how I wanted the site to look, and they went ahead and did it.

In my opinion, based on the work performed and the tailored approach, they're highly unique--I dont know of any other companies offering a free solution like this and for somebody like me, the alternative would have been to fumble trying to build it myself, or pay thousands of dollars to have it developed.
