I am the Managing Director of Stream Gear.

For what projects/services did your company hire Exo Digital?

We are a startup e-commerce store built for gamers within the e-sports community.

How did you select Exo Digital and what were the deciding factors?

We enquired with a few businesses and found that Exo Digital demonstrated empathy. They were extremely professional and provided a road map for the business startup from the beginning, we were extremely surprised with the amount of considered detail. It was a no brainer for us that we went with Exo.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The road map consisted of several stages of brain storming and activities driven by their highly capable team. They listened, then suggested and we came up with value propositions that was extremely unique.

How many resources from the Exo Digital's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In most sessions we worked with 5+ members of the Exo team. Content creator, Team Leader, UI/UX Designer, Dev team and Robert who is the CEO of the firm, what stood out for us was that he was involved in every meeting - something that we have not experienced before, it gave us clarity and a peace of mind from the get go.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We began this ambitious project with many ideas but Exo really took our ideas to the next level, it was an absolute pleasure to see our ideas turning into reality. All milestones were delivered early and communication was second to none.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

From the get go Exo knew we used Slack as the preferred platform of communication and connected with us. All communications were instant and our business verticals aligned.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think I speak for everyone that have had the pleasure with working with Exo Digital - Their communication is second to none, whilst they are easy to work with they are also extremely professional. These days its hard to come across a company that goes above and beyond for their client in every possible way.

Exo digital had certainly exceeded our expectation, and we already have many more projects in the making with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't say this too often but they have delivered the perfect service, perfect product and I couldn't ask for more. Due to COVID we've had to work exclusively online, as we were not use to communicating on this forum they made the experience extremely seamless, fun and professional.

I would like to congratulate Robert and the team for assisting in developing and delivering such an unique website and experience.

What challenge were you trying to address with Exo Digital?

We needed help with the branding, website, and online presence of our business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us develop our messaging and positioning to the general public as a brand. They also designed the website for us taking into account our requirements; they proposed 4–5 concepts, and we selected one of them to further polish it.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with Robert (Director) and one of the designers from their team.

How did you come to work with Exo Digital?

I used to work with Robert in the past, and I liked the work that they’ve had done. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $5,000 AUD (approximately $3,800 USD) with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked from August 2019–October 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They didn’t just design the site; they resonated with the target audience for our business. 

How did Exo Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

I worked closely with them, and they came back to us quickly whenever we gave any feedback or comment. We used Figma for communication and comments on their work. I have a design background as well, so that facilitated communication with their team, and it was great to talk to someone in the same field as me.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They had a deep understanding of branding, design, and UX. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — they did a great job.

Communicate with them and tell them what you want.
