Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Engage with the largest Universities in the UK who outsource their Summer Cleaning for Student Accommodation (1000s of rooms deep cleaned in a very short space of time). Understand their needs, write proposals and Tenders where appropriate and win the business for us. Also create exhibition assets, graphics for on and offline use, Merchandise and even create, produce, direct, film, post edit and deliver an advert for Sky TV. Ultimately put us in front of the right people and win us new business.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our last quarter of actvity in 2024 (and we've been working with DTM since 2019) we spent £5447 and Martin and his team won us 3x University contracts all worth over £150,000 over 2 years plus they created all the graphics for panels, shirts, pens, notebooks, table tunners etc we used at one of the largest exhibitions in our industry where we stood out so well we were approached by a very large (now) client and reaping the rewards.

One of the tenders that won, his section scored an amazing 93.8% which, in our past experience, was unheard of. This is because Martin took the time to really understand who we are, how we work, and knows how to accurately portray this information in a manner the reader truly understands. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The nature of the Tenders meant there was always a hard deadline and Double Tap Marketing absolutely delivered on time and even went out of their way regarding midnight clarification questions being answered and sent.

The exhibition material also had deadlines due to delivery etc. In fact I decided to change from standing flag banners to a full 5 piece panel background where it had to be done in an evening. Double Tap graciously dropped everything and sorted this, liaised with the printers and the exhibition installers and got everything done.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am extremely impressed by what they've delivered for us in the last five years, becoming integral to our continued success and growth. Martin and the team are not like any marketers I have ever come across. They are our entire marketing department now, taking everything very personally and ensuring whatever task is required is done to a far greater standard than we've had before and we couldn't be happier. 

It's easy to work with them, Martin makes sure everything we agree gets done - and usually more than I was expecting which is quite a joy! Due to their versatility, they not only gain us new clients through various methods (email marketing, telemarketing, proposal writing, website creation and management etc) but also happily help with other fairly random tasks we have in the business. 

Especially anything my MD needs like a car fully wrapped, an advert created from start to finish played on Sky or a full hospital software chosen and implemented (into another of the companies). 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Double Tap Marketing Ltd could have done differently?

The way we work with Double Tap Marketing has evolved over the years. At the start, a little more formal - understandably as there has to be clear 'this is what we need' and the 'this is what I've done' etc whereas now, I can WhatsApp them in the evening and they're working on it the following day (where possible) and reporting back. 

The pricing is very reasonable for the return, they are consistently demonstrating excellence with their services which directly impacts how we are a brand are received so couldn't change that. I think we'd be paying 5x as much going to a large call centre or corporately owned marketing agency. If they got the same results we'd still be happy. 

The new business gained has changed out company and helped us grow much larger which we are very grateful for so if I was being as critical as I can be, they are the best telemarketing, email marketing and general marketing agency we've ever worked with but perhaps exploring additional marketing channels would be one as if they excel in those with the ones they do at the moment we'll get even more business!
