They’re helping us build a cross-platform app for iOS and Android. We’re also going to have an informative website, although one without any user-facing functionality.

Our options for public events include booking for concerts, workshops, and seminars. Users can create their own private event and invite guests. We also have an option to check-in at the event on social media and send direct messages to other guests. The check-in requires the user to be physically present at the ticket with their seat or ticket.

They started from scratch, but I gave them a wireframe just to help them get an idea of what I want. They’ve designed the UI and they’re working on coding. Right now, they're working on the payment gateway, but it's been kind of a struggle because we have different finance laws in Kuwait. For example, in Kuwait, we cannot pay or receive money on PayPal. We have to contact a local business and they have to use their code and implement it in the application. Dealing with more than one party has been an issue, but Brainvire Infotech Inc has been such a help.

Their quality is top-notch. They’re also great at putting up with the things I need. For example, I’m working with a local studio that will create the brand identity, the theme, and the color scheme. We haven't locked everything in yet because I’m waiting for the studio to provide me with those things before I give it back to Brainvire Infotech Inc. Then they’ll have to work with it and integrate the UI.

Also, we were working on a corporate G-suite account, and Google requires a lot of information from us because of the different rules in Kuwait. It’s been a hassle to just create an account, so Brainvire asked us to send them the credentials and offered to create it on our behalf.

It’s been amazing. We communicate through Skype, Google calls, and emails. My partner went to India and met with the team over there. They’re available 24/7 and it’s easy to get in touch. They always provide updates.

Their speed is amazing. I was originally going to work with a local company here in Kuwait, and they told me that it would take six months to create the application with them. With Brainvire Infotech Inc, it’s been hard for me to keep up with them because they're going so quickly.

We’ve discussed our need for continuous services following the app development. If they opened an office in Kuwait, it would help us, and I think they're willing to do that. In light of the rapid growth of our day-to-day operations, we needed to modernize our outdated technology assets.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainvire worked to revamp our technological footprint. They conducted an analysis of our different requirements as well as a system comparison. Previously, we had Ionic- and Cordova-based applications, but the team helped us recode those apps in React Native. Using Odoo and Magento, they also translated our legacy LAMP system into a structured and scalable ERP.

What is the team composition?

There are three teams—comprised of 19 people—working on our project: an Odoo team, a Magento team, and our existing technology team. They all collaborate on the mobile aspect of the project. I’m using an onsite-offshore model, where I have a couple of their teammates working in my office.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In the ongoing engagement, they’ve been able to complement my existing technology stack and support it on an ongoing basis. I’m very satisfied with what they’re producing as they meet the requirements given to them.

They’ve been spot-on 95% of the time (the remaining 5% includes things that get lost in translation and transition). They’re very proactive and flexible in managing issues.

Their expertise helps us define the roadmap in terms of where we’re going and how we can expand our digital footprint.

They have an internally-managed project management team and they’ve been punctual in terms of what needs to be provided.  They’ve been working well with our own project management protocols. As our PM tools, we utilize Axosoft, Slack, Microsoft Project Plan, Excel, Odoo’s documentation portal, and Google Suite.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I have relied on their ability to provide the bench strength required. When we transitioned from Google Maps to Mapbox recently, we had an aggressive timeline. They gave me a fixed rate and were able to deliver on time, within budget, and with very minimal issues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They work in a staff augmentation model and are not really comfortable taking risks. I’m very happy with their work though.

It can become very difficult if you don’t have anybody on-site managing the communication. If you really want to have success, my recommendation is to have somebody from Brainvire Infotech Inc or somebody in-house managing the offshore team full-time.

Brainvire Infotech is responsive, making adjustments for us when needed. We’re a high-touch client, and I hired someone to work with them and manage the process. We’re always in touch. My team reviews any ad copy that they draft before it goes live. As far as executing campaigns, they are on top of all of the work they have to do. I recommend Brainvire Infotech Inc’s services.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with the breadth of skillsets their team has. They can handle the challenges we’ve had with SEO and reporting. Their team also set up AB testing for us. Not everyone on our marketing team has that technical background. We appreciate having someone to bounce ideas off of.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At times, they could be better at thought leadership. They also could be more metric oriented when it comes to reporting and working with ad copy. Their team is working on that though.

At the beginning of an engagement, I recommend micromanaging them a bit. Once you understand how they work, you can lay off. It helps to understand their process and relay what your expectations are. We have a reporting structure for metrics that are discussed each week. I recommend having a weekly meeting too.

There were a lot of issues with the inconsistency of our website’s speed and functionality. We needed to increase our conversion rate as well. We decided to move forward with another agency and a branding team so we could maintain brand consistency and better performance with the website.

We gave them a project plan and once we approved their plan, they implemented the changes into the website. Those changes included adding the site dashboard, tracking cart usage, adding visitor tracking to the website, enabling follow-up emails, updating the typography, font style, and everything on the website.

The website user interaction rate has increased. The average number of website visits and the time people spend on the website has increased by 3.5 seconds per minute. Brainvire Infotech Inc improved the bounce rate of the campaigns that we’re doing for Google Ads. Previously, when we had a campaign on Google, we were receiving almost an 80-90% bounce rate for Google and paid campaigns. For the moment, we’re receiving only a 40-50% bounce rate, which is brilliant. They also increased conversions and quality leads.

Their project management is perfect. There were some communication issues at the start on our side, but we smoothed it out. They were able to provide all the project management tools like Jira. They also provided detailed task timesheets of what they had done.

We set up milestones. If they were unable to complete the task, they’d add more resources to the team in order to complete the projects on time. They did that without asking us and didn’t charge it to the billing cycle. They’re a hardworking team.

Brainvire Infotech Inc built a lightweight custom app for our analytics solution. We started by sharing a proof of concept with them. Then, their business analysts worked with our team to understand the exact requirements and conceptualize any additional features. 

Based on that discovery phase, they recommended the best technologies (e.g., .NET) to build out our app before designing the initial wireframes and integrating it with our proprietary analytics solution. Despite the short timeframe, Brainvire Infotech Inc delivered the project on schedule. One of the key things I was worried about was time lost due to unnecessary back and forth. I made it a point to set the stage up front, insisting that they supply a QA resource to fully test everything before delivery. Their team did just that, which significantly saved us time on testing and retesting the app.

I wasn’t involved in day-to-day project management. Instead, their team managed everything, from the timeline to the task at hand. They had effective status reports and weekly project calls, both of which allowed us to address issues while giving feedback in a timely fashion. It was a great way to prevent us from becoming a bottleneck in the delivery.

I was impressed that they had access to such a wide number of resources. Since we were on a time crunch, we needed to add more people to the project to deliver everything on time. Brainvire Infotech Inc redeveloped our customer and inventory management platform, moving from a DOS system to a Microsoft Azure system. We use the platform to track inventory, manage customer relations, and maintain a contact database. It includes custom tools as well as standard industry products to integrate our old system’s data into the new one.

The Brainvire team came out to our office to learn our previous platform and how we used it. After taking a tremendous amount of notes, they created wireframes and screenshots of the potential system. The platform has launched. We’ve fully migrated all our data from the old system, and we’ve ironed out most of the bugs we experienced in the first few weeks. At this point, everything works. Brainvire Infotech Inc has provided excellent support for their scope of work since we went live.

The quality of their work is excellent. Brainvire Infotech Inc demonstrates an in-depth technical background. We only had to help them a bit in designing the frontend and the system’s look and feel. Other than that, they were very, very good.

Brainvire Infotech Inc put in place a fast timeline and did their best to stick to it. Most delays came from our end—we often took time to make decisions and take pauses before moving to the next phase. We could have gone live sooner, but we didn’t feel we were ready, and I think we made the right call.

We used GoToMeeting to check each other’s work. Our communication was otherwise through email and calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team was highly available from start to finish. Even the CEO responds immediately to my messages. Chintan also made several visits to our office in person. When we weren’t ready to move forward in certain phases, he talked to his team on our behalf to get them on track with our expectations. Overall, we’re happy we went with Brainvire Infotech Inc over our other options.

We had some misunderstandings at the beginning of the project about what the wireframes represented. Eventually, after multiple change requests that came at an additional cost, we were happy with the results. Brainvire Infotech Inc was understanding and flexible throughout the process.

Make sure you and Brainvire Infotech Inc are on the same page in the proposal and scope stage of the work. Also, be prepared to move a quick pace. You can push back, and they’ll accommodate you, but be ready to answer questions early on.

One of our U.S.-based clients needed a visualization tool developed from scratch. They had evaluated a lot of other tools available in the market, but they wanted to build something on their own.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed and designed the visualization tool, which consisted of all the charts for analytical solutions. I gave them the business requirements and they built the solution in Java. It had a multi-payment feature which would allow clients to assign the reports or the dashboards based on their organizational hierarchy.

The vice president of sales wanted to evaluate the personas of the sales reps working under him and then he would be able to see the performance of all the team members. The individual salesperson would be able to see the business analysis for the region he’s responsible for. There’s an export functionality and sharing of the dashboards and KPIs with other users in the system.

They did an excellent job building a tool according to our requirements. They were very professional in their approach, understanding my requirements and providing lots of ideas. They came up with 30% of the solutions on their side. The final outcome of the engagement included additional features that they had suggested. My client was extremely happy.

They took a very detail-oriented approach. I didn’t have any major issues during my unit testing because they had already shared all the user cases, the case scenarios, the case results with me when they delivered them to my team for testing. The user testing of the tool went extremely smoothly. When I delivered it to clients, there were absolutely no issues when they tested the product.

We used to evaluate the project status weekly with the project manager, the technical lead, and the entire team on the call. They were always up to date before the scheduled call. There were no delays from their side, and the entire project was completed within the time frame. Everything was well-managed. I monitored the entire process on a weekly basis.

The CEO is extremely approachable. Whenever I had any particular request, he was always there to help me out and talk to his team. They sometimes worked more than 14-15 hours per day just to meet deadlines.

We’re a startup company that wanted to create a patient-facing mobile application. The app would help patients and doctors communicate and exchange information with each other.

What was the scope of their involvement?

As the product designer on the project, I had some designs and ideas on what direction we wanted to go in. Brainvire Infotech Inc helped carry out those ideas through design and development, taking the prototypes we designed. They also consult on every aspect.

We’re now in the development phase, putting in all together. The product is cross-platform. We have a patient-facing mobile app that is native for iOS and Android, a doctor web portal, and a marketing website for customers to visit and for existing users to log into. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I have no metrics aside from our timetable, and so far, we’re ahead or on schedule. As far as the quality of work, I’ve been impressed with Brainvire Infotech Inc from a design standpoint. We’ve just begun development, but starting to receive a few deliverables from their team.

How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

This is an improvement point for side; these projects require a lot of collaboration. For the most part, we communicate weekly, if not daily. We use Skype, which has been great overall.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Along with their extensive portfolio, I appreciate their willingness to work with our team. We’re building a healthcare platform, and their company has made a lot of great products in this space. They have the experience, which includes being quite knowledgeable about HIPPAA compliance. Brainvire Infotech Inc’s experience building products for the US market was a big checkmark for them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Since we’re not on the same schedule, the time difference can slow down work. It’s expected when working with offshore companies. In the early stages of our development, I spent three weeks working nights, but their team wasn’t available to answer questions. They have other clients, lives of their own, and located on the other side of the world. This isn’t something that they can improve on, but it is a challenge for a business based in the US.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients need to be prompt and flexible. Brainvire Infotech Inc has a team that will travel to clients’ locations to make sure everything’s good, but people working with them have to be willing to have all-nighters or work night shifts, even if just on a temporary basis.
